these ducks are not being raised in "bad" conditions, they have ten times the space an average intensively raised duck or chicken do, they have access to an outside area they are then released into the wild where the shoots that buy them will be lucky to get shoot 50% which means a lot will be free to breed and live a free life and if they are shot it will be a swift death in most cases unlike the ducks and chickens you find in the supermarket or even worse halal meat production.

Do you moan about beef cattle farmers also? Its an age old tradition to rear animals and birds for food, maybe they are released and shot or taken to market and sold. It all results in income to our farmers and landowners, jobs for hundredes of people and good food on the table! If you want to live on vegetables and no meat, good for you! Not all birds are reared like this, they start them off in them small rings so they keep close to the heater (keeping them warm). Then they let them have more and more room as they get bigger. They only put them into those crate things for transportation aswell..
