I'm not saying that this band did the song justice because really it's a completely different song. The album was compiled to salute Nirvana and to show how many bands from different genres they've influenced. If you wanna listen to Nirvana fucking listen to Nirvana and stop wishing every other band was like them.

I have never heard of Arcane Roots but I tell you what, this version is fucking funky! As a big fan of Nirvana and this album, I adore this cover. @DanSmithxD is right, you can either do it exactly like the original or make it your own. This song was always going to be the hardest to do, and I think it's unusual, but it's good.

Also, I don't know who this band are, so I'm not biased for or against them, but they most certainly do NOT sound emo.

This is a very good cover. They have made it their own, but kept the original mentality of Nirvana. I didn't expect much, because I thought, well, its Nirvana, who can touch them. But Arcane Roots have done one of THE greatest jobs with this song. Even better than The Blackout's cover of "Stay Away", which is a brilliant song, sung by my favourite band. This just just trumps everything on that album.

i think they've done well, they've taken one of the most boring instrumentals in the world and made it into something new, still similar to the original, but it's their own. Where as the other covers are just another cover song by a half decent band. at least these have been creative.
