  • Steady I Really Like This Video Steve designed this model using topological mesh modeling software and contacted

  • Good, I like that you share this video, I wish success always Steven Tippett from Texas. Steve designed this model using topological mesh modeling software

  • Nice Video That You Share , So Very Nice Thanks You Here we have a topological model designed by Steven Tippett from Texas.

  • I Really Like The Video From Your Steve designed this model using topological mesh modeling software and contacted

  • Your Video Is Very Useful Sharing Steve designed this model using topological mesh modeling software and contacted me

  • can it make a model if his head?

  • Fractal printes models?

  • will it blend?

  • a sexy alien lol

  • but does it bled?

  • Would be cool do do that in large scale for sculptures.

  • I drove onto an off ramp that looked like that once.

  • ye sevenblah's very good at C4D..unique style

  • looks like one of those white pretzels turned into... this.

  • It's actually a new form of cog I designed. I'd make a video explaining how to use it, but it would result in mass suicide, and there would be no-one left on the internet for me to troll.

  • @team222badbrad Carbon printing.... Like a boss

  • an object of art that needs to be displayed as floating perhaps magnets can be incorporated for a magnetic levitation. Think in advance of their weight so it balances mid-air levitation

  • can u print legos

  • hehe cool :D

  • what´s the black stuff surrounding the model???

  • @gnation6969 the story had to exist before itself

  • This is so cool!

  • this doesn't SHOW ANYTHING. This could have been made in a mold.

  • @yanabento Shut up and watch his other videos. He actually makes these in his 3D printer.

  • great work dude !!!

  • Is it an IUD ?

  • AWESOME

  • Cool Shit

  • @team222badbrad nice model :)

  • Hi there, I really liked the model and I loved the way you did it with that black material. Can you tell me how you did it? What program did you use?

  • it looks like a building

  • that would be kewl having it as big statue.

  • you look like an alien........

  • @girlscallme143 Maybe I am...

  • looks cool. But what does it do, except looking cool?

  • @Kunibuler It doesn't do anything. Its just something to look at.

  • @team222badbrad But will it blend?

  • @Kunibuler It's a bad ass napkin ring.

  • toilet

  • STUNNING i HAVE NO IDEA HOW YOU DID IT BUT GENIUS

  • Is that print even possible to do on a real machine or only on a 3d printer. Because I get that the printer can access all 12 degrees of freedom at once. A cnc machine can only access 5 sides at a time.

It'll be an interesting age when they can make printers to handle special alloys and at aerospace precision. :)

(and then in the next century, have one large enough to just print the plane itself in one go from the bottom up!) lololol!! :)

  • @YourMOMsPie A 3d printer prints any shape in layers. when you have support material there are no limits to the shapes you can print (except completely enclosed voids, as you couldn't wash the support material out of those)

  • I don't get why this is so cool... which it isn't.

  • id make a vibrator... :D

  • What is the support made out of?

  • Fajne spagetti...

  • i want to eat it

  • which software did you use??

  • @NixKah I just printed the part not design it.

  • @NixKah

It was made using TopMod. Go to topmod3d.org/

  • @NixKah topmod

  • looks like a comfy chair XDD

  • how much does a machine like that cost Oo. And how are the surfaces on the plastic (if its textured, smooth rough etc) Cuz my school has a 3d printer that uses powder which you then have to cure sand etc. I was wondering how a printer that prints in abs differs.

  • how long did it take to print

  • @jamie2k110 Without looking for the model on my hard drives probably around 5 to 8 hours.

  • the black looks rought and shit

  • @happygamestvfun1 its just there to support the model while its being printed. It is made to dissolve away in a chemical bath.

  • @happygamestvfun1 Did you even watch the whole video? He shows it without the support at the end.

  • @oOBNOo i dont need suport i know heaps about priting 3d shit

  • @happygamestvfun1 If you knew heaps, then you would have known what "the black" was regardless if you use it or not.

  • @oOBNOo He wishes he could make this model accurately without support material...

  • that would be an awesome toilet seat.

  • Comment removed

  • boring

  • wtf how is this texas

  • @xlurielxl he said its not texas!

  • Yeah that doesn't look anything like Texas, sorry.

  • That looks nothing like texas, Steven Tippet YOU SIR NEED TO GO BACK TO 2ND GRADE!

  • definitely doesn't resemble Texas at all... what a joke.

  • wonder if next people will figure out how to print money with a 3d printer XD

  • @rerere284 why would you need a 3d printer for that??? wtf.

  • awesome. really awesome... I wanna do that too !

  • its like a mobius strip on acid

  • dude that would make a kickass chair if it were up to scale.

  • @xXEMOBOIIXx1

Oooooo.... That WOULD make a kickass chair.

  • @xXEMOBOIIXx1 Exactly what I thought too.

  • @xXEMOBOIIXx1 ... or toilet.

  • @xXEMOBOIIXx1 i thought the same ting XD

  • i dont see a texas

  • Huh?

  • it doesnt look like texas to me. its cool, but definitly not texas

  • Who said anything about looking like Texas?

The designer of the 3d model is from Texas.

  • hahaha, wow, i totally thought it said it was an abstract model of texas. my bad

  • @team222badbrad A model design by Steven, of Texas. Actually in context of that sentence, the "of Texas" was about the model and not the designer.

  • @team222badbrad The ChrisBravia1001 comment is mine actually I commented you from the wrong acc, my apologizes.

  • @team222badbrad made by steven tippett of texas... i can see how that can be taken the wrong way, maybe from texas would have been better

  • @team222badbrad That comment looks like Awesome. So is the 3D printing! Totally cool!

  • @91ChickenLegs: Use your head a little bit here. He said texas because the model designer is from texas

  • @91ChickenLegs there is Nothing in this video that indicates weather or not this is in texas. no outdoor photo, no decorations indicating texas, he's not even wearing a texas school shirt...... how do you determin this is NOT or IS from texas?

  • @ph33ric OMFG don;'t you see this guys just jokign round aka trolling... omfg your comments sound even dumber than his!

  • @91ChickenLegs hahah ;)

  • awesome

  • I don't get it

  • Amazing stuff! Can you make a Klein Bottle? Now THAT would be interesting to see....

    Best

    tac

  • Yes a Klein bottle is possible.

  • What would it cost to print a 3D model about 12" tall, like a sculpture of a person, with high detail on the surface, but not necessarily solid (could just be minimal supports inside)? I don't have a model to send for quote, but a broad range would be nice to know. (Are we talkin' hundreds of dollars, or thousands?)

  • Around $1000 give or take a few. It depends on complexity and print type.

Print time would probably be 1-2 days.

  • HUH?

  • that be cool to make modle plane, gun ect...

  • That's very cool piece of art

  • your videos is really great and humble. Also very instructional. What i'd like to know is what kind of alternative materials are there?

  • nice one!

what material are the models made out of?

  • Thanks!

    ABS Plastic

  • That's awesome, how much would it cost to get one of these models printed?

  • I believe this model is around $100.

  • that's a LOT!

  • $100? that's cheap! considering its a custom reproduction plus material cost, labor to clean it up, overhead cost etc.

  • you such a strange and interesting job.

  • thanks I love it and all the other cool things I receive that I cannot share for the world to see! :-(

    Bradley

  • top secrecy no doubt.

  • @aworldofviolets I wonder how someone gets into that line of work, what specific degree and everything

  • @2007cjkelley Just dream big and work hard! I've got an Associates Degree in Letters, Arts, and Sciences...
