I hate the respect cannibal holocaust gets just because of all the controversy it went through. It's definitely not an easy sit through but it wasn't anywhere close to a movie like Dead Alive. I also hate how much horror fans rip on Saw. I would not call any of the saw films tame and even though with overall quality they don't compare to the classics, they are pretty good for being as mainstream as they are and definitely deserve a little more respect from gorehounds.

The Saw movies aren't even half as gory as any of these. While by today's pussy rated R standards, they may be gory, they are NOTHING compared to any of Romero's Dead films, or Cannibal Holocaust.
