The first time I heard this song I cried, and every time since then I have cried when I listen to this song. This is something that no family with active duty family members want to go through. I hope everybody who doesn't have a soldier as a family member will see how hard it is. My brother is in the army and I miss him everyday.

I love these tribute videos. From the TV and papers, much of what we see does not effect us directly cause of the gov't shield and political correctness, but the faces and names on these videos make this war much more real.
Thank you to the men and women in our American armed forces, and the families that have made the ulitmate sacrifice of giving up a loved one. I was in the 2/327th Infantry, Ft Campbell in the early 1980s was very fortunate to never seen violence. Thank God.....

This has nothing to do with self pity, it is a song about the men who had a whole life ahead of them, but instead joined the armed forces and died for our country. These people are heroes because of the choice they made to serve. Wow, when i listen to this song i always get tears in my eyes. My whole family has always been in the Military. My brother and dad are over in irac right now serving for a year and a half. Its a really hard thing to deal with. Almost all of the people serving are just kids. In thier early 20's or younger. I really hope all the soldjers come home, and come home soon.

i want those poor young men and women out of there just as much as anyone, but we are keepin terrorism at the frontlines, once we pull out i guarentee you its gonna get worse, im sorry ur fathers in Iraq i truly am with all my heart,but im sure ur father believes in the mission as many of us do, dont let the liberal media make u think we lost iraq they only show the bodies, never the schools, hopsitals, clinics, government facilities and so much we have given that nation. IF YOU READ THIS.....My heart goes out to all the soliders and thier families.I have never lost someone close to me in war but I could never show enough respect to our solidiers . The real heroes. Just a thought...
We as a country need think about what's wrong here, people in this country are more concerned about the yankees then the soliders giving up thier lives for this country. So stop complaining about gas prices and be thankful we have soliders to fight for us !

my husband is in the army. you did a wonderful job with this video. and thank you so much for your support for all the troops. most of them dont even get mail ya know. they could every little bit of support they get even if its just by making a tribute video.
