the tune is good but quite frankly the old anthem only praised the hindu king making nepal a hindu state only although the new anthem tune is ok but it has great lyrics because it addresses all cultures and groups of nepal as nepal is a multicultural country. so the old racist anthem is not good for nepal that is why we have a new anthem which recognizes all nepali people.

In addition, the two nations share rather similar cultures (both are majority Hindu nations). the malla rulers integrated caste system into nepali society.
the rana rulers made caste system as a law.
the shah rulers followed the caste system.
