Dont know if it makes any difference but i'm running firmwire 2.1,update1 for motorola android. I'm terribly frustrated because i've been everywhere on how to do exactly what the image shows at the beginning of this video, but i can't because these forums are horrible. When i finally find a video that's go, i can't use it because my files are structured different. I NEED HELP, BAD BRO!!!
@wncoulte some newer phones and firmware's have the files in different folders such as drawable-mdpi so just find the png in one of the drawable folders.

my service.jar does not contain "classes.dex.

oke the white text is only the stats bar itself.what about the pullout menu from stats bar? do we just change status_bar_expanded the same way??

I was following your tutoral pretty well until you opened the framework-res.apk folder and opened drawable, instead of drawable-hdpi.

@TheFxn drawable, is low res, mdpi is medium res, and hdpi is high res. most phones now use hdpi folder.
