  • hi. does this work with froyo? on nexus one?

  • @aeopath I can't see a reason why it wouldn't work, if the same files are there then it shouldn't be a problem, take a backup and give it a go =o)

  • Dont know if it makes any difference but i'm running firmwire 2.1,update1 for motorola android. I'm terribly frustrated because i've been everywhere on how to do exactly what the image shows at the beginning of this video, but i can't because these forums are horrible. When i finally find a video that's go, i can't use it because my files are structured different. I NEED HELP, BAD BRO!!!

  • I was following your tutoral pretty well until you opened the framework-res.apk folder and opened drawable, instead of drawable-hdpi.

  • @wncoulte some newer phones and firmware's have the files in different folders such as drawable-mdpi so just find the png in one of the drawable folders.

  • @TheFxn drawable, is low res, mdpi is medium res, and hdpi is high res. most phones now use hdpi folder.
