There are plenty of Teochew in South East Asia, particularly Singapore and Thailand. Teochew makes up 30% of the Chinese population in Singapore, which work out to about 20% of the total population. Unfortunately, the govt ban on dialects usage in Singapore means that Teochew is going the way of the dinosaur. Extinct! Thankfully, there are still teochew in China!!
