I have watched the first ten episodes of SGU. And it sucks. also the actors are anoying.PLEASE give me that sg1 storylines back. can't get enough of that show.

i miss the episodes where stargate was ACTUALLY ABOUT THE FUCKING STARGATE,and exploring new worlds, not about some retards getting stuck on board a ship. Stargate sg1 was the SHIT!! especially the first few seasons, and Atlantis was good too, but they fucked this one up good. it may still have had a chance if they put in a bunch of people (preferably the original Sg1 team) who use the stargate to travel to other strange new planets, just like the good old days lol

the stargate series are all different . u need to watch the last 10 episodes of season 1 it was getting better. and season 2 from wat i read post to be totally different from season 1

i hered that 2 atlantis members will guest star plus there is post to be big serects and big battles in the earler episodes .  but i liked the last 10 episodes the new alien race is almost look like the asgard or a wat they may of looked like before the clones. but they encounted them many times. oneal guest stared on a couple episodes. i thinak daniel jackson is post guest star sometime on season 2 also.

what the hell happened, stargate is about adventure and drama, and is usually very funny, with really interesting characters. i thought they canceled sga because they didn't have enough funds or something to do with money. the very existance of this show proves otherwise so why the hell cancel such a brilliant show with lots of potential for this crap! im sorry if u enjoy this show but i just have to express how much i think sgu is bull shit. i would much rather they continued sga.

I would like to continue sg1 is possible, but anwyway not having money is not the issue, stargate started in 1997 and 10 years later they were kept on using the same props.Seriously the most sucessfull sci fi series does not money? The only thing they actually have is money.

For some reason they decided to make the new show more like batlestar galactica, kinda dramatic. It seems that all those people who were watching sg1 and atlantis are not enough to point out that the show is fine as it is.

Ofcourse have him beating in math by a kid! I liked the part with Micheal Shanks, Amanda Tapping and Richard Dean Anderson cuz they are the best. Weird that the Hammond was beaten by some goa'uld tech, dont they have everything of the Asgard and some stuff of the Ancients now? come on!

i agree. it's trying to capture the bsg market for 'dark' gritty sci-fi. i do like bsg quite a bit but i love sg-1 - no matter how campy/cheesy it is but that's part of the appeal of sg-1.

I want to see Jacksson and Mckay in the same team. Btw stargate SG1 had a great crew in the first 7 maybe 8 seasons, then it got sucky. SGA has McKay and had Dr Beckett, really rest is crap (dont really like Amanda Tapping in season 4 although she is way better than weir). So make a few sg1 all uber episodes with those ppl at Atlantis.

Why did the asgard not visit atlantis?? couldnt that have saved them? stupid hermiod flys there and back without doing cool science overloaded stuff.

this is going to suck. i loved sg1 and sga and i think if you are going to call it stargate universe then it should have some kind of resemblence to, o i don't know, THE ASTABLISHED STARGATE UNIVERSE. sgu should have been the original team and sga together

OK.. so you have Voyager with more special effects.. STVoy is great .. but why the *el* produce a starship based show when most of the fan base are moaning about SGA /SG1 S9+ is allready too much starship based.. This has epic fail potentual. I would have preferted a season 6 of SGA instead!

Yeah, they are stuck on a multi-million year old Ancient ship they gated into using the 9th chevron. They don't know how to get off yet, so they are screwed! (The ship was used by the Ancients to put Stargates on planets around the Universe.)

ive loved all the Stargates but towards end of Atlantis i was getting a little bit bored with the 45 min bad guy eps.. where a bad guy appears at begining and 45 mins later theyve killed him or whatever...

having a constant central story and character arcs should make it more interesting :D
