She is just in a happier place now and wanted to come on the show and discuss her music. She is moving forward with her life and although she revealed her past to people, its something she doesn't wish to dwell on constantly. When you have been through what she has and find peace of mind, you want to keep that :)

I also feel that we have learned a lot about Keyshia from watching her reality show(well for those who watch it). I don't think that she has anything to hide during this interview, but it seems as though she is in a much happier place and wanted to discuss where she is today in terms of her new cd, movie etc. No matter what question they asked her during this interview, she continues to talk about her music. I am not sure if they discussed the questions with her before the show.

It's easy for people to say something about the way she interviewed if they've never had any traumatic experiences such as she. Clearly, she wanted to come on the interview to talk about her music. She wasn't expecting to be bombarded with hundreds of questions about her past that she simply wanted to forget about and move forward. Her life is not all about what happened to her. She is a lot more than her past. It would be nice if people would allow her to develop into the prson God has made her

I thought the interview was really good! Keyshia just was there to promote her music so I feel thats why she felt the need to change the subject. Its just something she didn't really want to discuss. They were grilling her so she got a little defensive which was fine. Thats normal and she is just in a 'Happy' place right now so she doesn't really wish to dwell on her shortcomings. She is moving forward with her life.

I dont know why this interview made me embarassed for keyshia. I know she was tryna move from the negitive subject of her famiy's past...but she just picked the wrong timing to do it. She still needs to prep for inteviews cause she more on a down to earth leavel and view is like "hollywood" and keyshia is still prolly tryna warm of to that type of atmosphere. But she will get it. all the greats went thru it
