  • WHY DID HE PLACE 1.3 MILLION ACRES OF LAND IN WA. AND OR. WITH THE RICHEST CLEAN BURNING COAL DEPOSIT IN THE WORLD OFF LIMITS AFTER SAYING HE WOULD USE CLEAN BURNING COAL?

  • America needs to "Play its Own Game" not compete with "ideology of the Chiese" or japanese and high speed rail to "no-where fast". Get real-- Do what works for America and do it Now!

  • And next will be a republican who promises change, then a democrat, then a republican, then a democrat, then a republican, then a democrat.......

  • you dnt care about clean energy im the ARK angle Michael and if I dn't write new things soon gods getting mad and you dn't give a fuck about clean energy or else you would tell the world whats really going on you might want to contact me before everyone goes crazy thanks for the oil in the ocean thats real clean

  • Listened to KFI yesterday make humor about Obama.

Just put clean energy at then of every thing he says.

    Like clean energy.

  • rockin' the house yo!

  • he asked congress to approve another 5 billion dollars for cleaner energy....are you fuckin kidding me? we spend almost 700 billion dollars each year on foreign oil!!! so wtf is 5 billion gonna do? this guy is unbelievable and everyone just laughs at his jokes haha hehe fuck that

  • @yaneighborhoodninja most of the 5 bil would have to go to the education of short sighted ecotards like yourself.

  • There is no such thing as "clean" coal. Bad idea President Obama.

  • It's a great thing he is talking about green jobs and green energy. Although he isn't really doing Green policiy but green.

Andrew Dobson gives a very enlightening explanation on the difference between both, in the book "Green Political Thought".

Just to quote one of the metaphors he uses: "So the Queen of England does not suddenly become a political ecologist by having her fleet of limousines converted to lead-free petrol"

  • No, but it shows concern?

  • That depends on what moved him/her (the queen) to do it. It might be that he wants the states to lead global economy, therefore, when this world economy is "conquered" the environmental cause might not longer be of any importance.

If prefer to think his is concerned. But the facts will tell if I'm right or not.

  • @DORAMARIE no it shows how stupid we are for letting him get this far. this is supposed to be a democracy!!!

  • This is deceptive, because the President isn't really proposing any clean energy: Wind energy & the "Smart Grid" use SF6, the worst greenhouse gas: 34,000 worse than CO2; Solar panels are made with NF3, the second worst greenhouse gas, & the one growing fastest in our atmosphere; he also proposes clean coal, which doesn't exist, and nuclear energy, which is just a very expensive & dangerous way to boil water & collect bribes for politicians.

  • green chovinism? climate change? or just a matter of resourses?

    gringos culiaos son muy winners.

  • "I know that there are those who disagree with the overwhelming scientific evidence on climate change."

One of my favorite lines in that speech.

  • It is ironic that President Obama should use that line, just one month after destroying consensus at the Copenhagen climate summit. So many there cared so much, then Obama came in as the ultimate global warming denier, ruining the conference and refusing to cooperate. Many in the Southern Hemisphere felt he had sentenced them to death by his obstructionism.

  • Great message. Clean energy also reduces dependence on foreign oil, a message that should have been headed in the 1970s.

  • Let's make the changes...NOW!

  • go obama go
