The PS GT games have pretty good soundtrack music,whereas the PS2 GT games(intro music excluded)has some rather lame remixes and song selections.Midnight Club games rules in the soundtrack department.

While Mark laments how the newer GT games focus on detail rather than fun, I think GT3 still has some intense details that even Forza 4 doesn't match, and this is a 10 year old game remember. For instance, when you go really fast in the Mazda 787B and look behind, you can see the wiper shake because of air resistance. And the brakes glow orange if you use them full-on - Forza does the same, but back in 2001, that was a first.

it all ended after gt5 for me. When gt3 came out i felt like yeah this is the best game ever! Then gt4 came out and it was even better then gt4! But now sadly with the graphic obsession of mister yamauchi ( correct if i spelt his name wrong. ) the game is no longer the same it's like they cut out the racing genre and made it a photoshoot on wheels. It is so sad that one of the greatest racing games of all time ends this way...

Ahh memories... This was one of the first video games I've ever played, and will always hold a special place in my heart. When I was about 4,5, or 6, my dad got this game for the PS2, along with Wild, wild, racing, and burnout. This game blew us away, even today, the graphics were amazing for it's time, and the gameplay is fun. Cars were my favorite thing when I was little, hot wheels, matchbox, Johnny lighting. And Gran Turismo.

@ShawShank503 the reason why I got them for so cheap is because I got jak and daxter on sale during christmas 2010 and gran turismo 3 a few days ago.They came with their proper box art and instruction manuals aswell.Also the PS2 is definately the best game system around because the games have aged well and are now cheap as anything.

I talk spend hours telling you about memories I had with the ps2 like when I got it back in 2003 when I was 8 and it broke like 6 times over 2 years with around 3 or 4 of the times being during the warranty XD.I still continue to play my ps2 to this day because I thing that's good about the ps2 is the demographic.When I was 8 I would play all these kiddy games but now that I'm 15 I play hardcore games like gran turismo,god of war etc.But one game i've always like is ratchet and clank 3.

Ratchet and clank 3 continues to stand the test of time even after 7 years and I've finished it at least 6 times or so.Then comes Jak 3 which I found on sale during christmas 2010 aswell for 10 dollars new.Not preowned but new.

@ertiikus Apply some toothpaste on it and leave it for about 5 - 10 mins,then wash it in water,and wipe the water off,of course.Then try playing the game,it should be working now.

@ertiikus try a disc scratch remover or just buy a new one it is like 3 bucks now
