This piece was written by Bob Dylan. He sings "la-la-la-la" in his version because he didn't write any words except "la-la-la-la" to that music. I have the sheet music to it. Caravelli made it popular, instrumentally, on the "Wigwam" album but I cannot seem to find it in CD format.

I have been looking for this version of Wigwam for decades! Thought it was done by The Mantovani Orchestra in the 1970s, but their fan club says no.

I have to find out how I can download it (I'm old so will ask a granddaughter!).

THIS is the BEST version of this song I know of. IMHO--it is a MUCH better version than even Dylan's original version--with Caravelli's chorus behind the music.

I have the song on Itunes and my Ipod. I am an easy listening fan from WAY back--and this song is in the top 50 of my favorites, and has been for many years now.

Sta2200 you are correct -- this is one of the most popular Easy Listening tunes of all time. Few people were familiar with Dylan's version, but when Phil Stout added Caravelli's version to the SRP playlist (heard nationwide) the requests began pouring in and the song took off. Yes, it's on my iPod and iTunes also, and I never tire of it. By the way, this is a great video and poem, carann.

Try on Winmx. I got it over 5 years ago. I checked Caravelli there not long ago--and this WAS there. Not sure if it is on Itunes--though I have it on my Itunes folder, since I put it in my Ipod mini.
