Other cooking shows would never have shown you a tarte that unmolded poorly. It would have been edited out for a take that went as planned, and what a loss it would be to the home cook. Instead, Julia takes this and turns it into the teaching moment it should be which is "don't panic, I'll show you how to fix it!" She helped so many people to not be scared of making mistakes in the kitchen!
can u upload a video of julia cooking crepes? she makes 3 different kinds, where one has an orange filling, another is a recipe from normande where she flambes in in cognac, and another is a regular crepe :D
@EuropeanGuy87 I agree with you on Martha. She's kind of too waspy for my taste as well lol But hey, as much as I effing love Julia Childs, I even read her books, we really can't tell if she was a perfectionist or not- obviously not judging from her show. However, Child's passion for food is pure, and it never fails to make me hungry once I gawk on what ever she's making. Even her voice makes me hungry lol. :)
@frdrcksncn Julia is a natural, and true about her voice she sounds like one of those European grandmother in old times that invites you to taste her old stew recipe or a nice desserts such a warm voice. Martha is overrated...i think she only does it for the money not for the passion

I bet that apple dessert tastes good. It looks yum-yum even if it did not plate that well. We miss U Julia Child.
