wow your arch is beautiful!!!! i wish mine looked like that! and its incredible for dead pointe shoes! but don't u hav trouble with the heels slipping because the elastic is so far back? also if they r further back u can't see the elastic from off stage like u can when they r there...just a suggestion putting your elastics there may work just fine for u... again great job!

@angelbaby233 there's not technically a "correct" place the elastic is suppose to be. Just sewn where the dancer needs the most support to keep the shoe on. Sure her placement of elastic looks a little silly, but it's not "really wrong",

I just got my pointe shoes today. it can kill your ankles sometimes, and you toes can get tired of being squished together in the box, but they're really not bad. it's pretty fun actually :)

I'm 14 and this is my 6th year of dance. I am taking my second year of Pointe. One helpful tip in pointe is to make sure ur toe nails are not too long or your toes will bleed, but that rarely happens and pointe is really fun.

yeah i usually don't put elastics on my pointe shoes but i felt i like my feet needed more support in this pair of shoes. so i put the elastics on differently than they're usually done because that was the best way to do it for my feet :)

your left foots boxs (big toe area) is sunk in like your not lifting out of it and not have equal weight on your pinkie toe and big toe:) hope i helped!!! but you do have awesome feet.

they don't look THAT dead? I know that Freeds weaken really quickly but the insole looks perfectly bent, not too much! But I think you shouldn't push your heel so much forward... It could weaken your ligaments, altough it looks beautiful.
