I totally agree with you - as a sound man who was playing when this tune was released we all knew the various dubplate versions and I have to say this mix just kills it. I still consider it along with Earl Zeros -Please Officer (Suffers Height Version) to be one of Jammy greatest mixes (Dub Plate or Not) and believe me I've heard some tunes in my time.

At 4min32 seconds we see exactly why this version is cited as the finest released version of this tune, mind you the vocal ain't too shabby either.

When a tune is this mental who needs a dubplate and all the attendant tedious arguments about who should or who shouldn't have it.
