whatever you say, jaguar/land lover has certainly leapt heaps and bounds under TATA. only thing bloody Ford did was rip off technology from what they bought and once useless they sell it off. look at Volvo cars. Ford's mondeo is screaming Jaguar design from the front and rear. some engineer at ford must have used a jag design plan to wrap his belognings when they left.
Jaguars are the best car in the world, pound for pound. I've had and still have Jags for many years. But........... for all the wonders of Castle Brom., it will never be Browns Lane. Jags were originally built in Coventry, and Coventry will always be their spiritual home.
Pretty soon there is gonna be a Jaguar assembly plant here in India much like other companies such as Volkswagen, Nissan, Renault, and Suzuki! When that happens, I will buy this car and keep it for taking the garbage to the dumpyard. Lets see how you Brit folks react to that then!
Jaguar is and will always be 100% British, India has no brain power to make such a beautiful beast yet, but still the English has invented some really good, sexy and excellent machines, this is one of them, so sad that India owns the company, but at least they only provide the operational capital, the real work is done back in England as it was when this amazing company was established. Keep it English, The English truly are amazing inventors, Long Live England and the UK god bless them :-)
@shv90210 Although Im indian, Im not patriotic in anyway, but come to talk about british cars, s far as I know Japanese ones r d most reliable, and german ones r d most sensible. All british cars are famous for is breaking down constantly. Aston Martin is famous for that! And by the way these are not my words mind you. Your very own Jeremy Clarkson thinks so. Now I do hope you know who Jeremy Clarkson is?? lol
@rcshetty3 All design and production were done in the UK. I can not see even a single part is made in India, it is sad, but true. India has not have the ability to make a reliable family car yet. Still a dream for them to make world leading luxury cars.
@roadtripnanyan The reason why they cant make a world leading luxury car is because they dont need to. We have enough population here to make money off selling cheap cars. Yeah I agree Indians r hypocrite horny bastards who fuck mindlessly and makes lots of unwanted babies but thats d way it is. And therefore there is an awful number of buyers! And anyway, most of the cars on Indian roads are Japanese or Malaysian. Yeah they r assembled in India though. .
