Don't get me wrong, the first 4 albums with the classic lineup are all great, but, come on, Danzig 4 has too much of an electronic feel in the vocals. Samhain had their last show on July 14, 1986 in N.Y., Danzig formed in '87 and their 1st album came out in '88. That's propbably why you haven't seen them in Ireland since '86.

I totally agree... The OLD music was WAY better!
It was all UP-HILL (Misfits-Samhain-Danzig1-4, Black Aria) until BlackTECHNODevil (aka Danzig5).
I just started listening to I Luciferi (aka Danzig7), and its closer to the older work (read: better)!!

Totally! I was JUST (literally, like 1-2 mins ago) saying exactly the same thing, on another video!!!
Misfits was awesome, but the sound-quality (of the time) sucked. Glenn (as a vocalist) really came into his own during Samhain.
He then carried Samhain (skull & all) with him to Danzig1-3. Danzig4 is great too..., but that's really when he started to change again!

@JohnChrist69 You're an idiot! First, it's Black Acid Evil and second I have been listening to Glenn for over 30 years and his voice has ALWAYS changed from album to album and band to band. Sure you have a favorite, we all do ( mine happens to be Lucifuge also ), giving up on him though is rediculous!

I dont see any problems with the quality (slow or anything along those lines) Danzig is one of the most under rated bands & all everyone knows is Mother which honestly I always shat on, that song is bs & people should listen to more of there stuff

The lead singer of Boston was one of the best vocalist i ever heard, awesome range. i believe he died though. Danzig is one of the best also, hes just not given enough credit.

I know, people only know Mother. I think Mother is by far his worst song. It's very basic and doesn't show any of his vocal talant. Glenn's best talant (other than this) is on III, 4p, and 777.

mother is a fucking amazing song. sure its not all of danzig, but its a great fuckin' song. i heard that shit and was blown away. i wouldve not checked out danzig if i wasnt so impressed with mother. his other songs are fuckin badass too but mother is a classic.

Samhain had their last show on July 14, 1986 in N.Y., Danzig formed in '87 and their 1st album came out in '88. That's propbably why you haven't seen them in Ireland since '86.
