This album is absolutely amazing, I never was much of a prog fan but this album totally captivated me with it's awesome twisted sci-fi concept. Just phenomenal song writing, and Kelly has become one of my favorite vocalists ever after hearing him on Beyond Twilight and Outworld.

Am I the only one that thinks this album decimates Dream Theater ever did? (Though John Petrucci wins in the solos)

The singer is Kelly Carpenter...best voice in metal! He sang for Rusty Cooley's Outworld from Houston if you'd like to hear him on other material. Jorn Lande is a worthless little fruit.

Kelly Carpenter tore shit up on this album. He's easily one of the best vocalists in metal right now, and unquestionably preferable to Lande and his nonsense.

This vocalist have a very different timbre of Russell Allen. Russell sings with a "torned voice".. This vocalist, sometimes sing like Russel. But it's cleaner. Like James Labrie.. I think that remind more James Labrie than Russel Allen.

But the three sings very well. And Shadowself it's a great music!!

Well as the most of you I would like to see Jorn singing again in BT, but, I am also a musician, and I know how difficult is to keep the same band formation. I don't think Section X is the best album from BT, I really like The Devil's Hall of Fame, but I have to bow myself to Ecstasy Arise, the best song in the SecX. About the vocals, please, don't be so cruel to him. He isn't, and will never be, Jorn Lande.

Their 2nd CD sucked!!! They came out from something totally different, totally new and innovating (The Devil's Hall of Fame), to the "Common place", meaning... they just became another European metal band.

They defied aesthetics once, I hope the can do it again. And bring back Jörn Lande.
