I think your on the right track except I think you need chronological order to the friendship thing. Initially becoming too much of a friend makes you just that a friend. I am what most would recognize as a nice guy/good guy type. I always attract female friendships (i'm a good listener) and have no problems getting ladies. I notice when I see or meet somebody that I am interested in or attracted to, I take on an extra air of confidence and steer the conversation to where i want. wow! this is so true, not that i need to develope this qualities but i've been trying to figure out what i did that made a girl fall in love with me last week, and one of them was what you just mentioned. i was natural and open with her, asked her some personal questions like i would to any friend, and we had some laughs as well.. i did this all without the intention of hitting on her.. just pure curiousity.. wow!! . hahaha, how ironic this only happens to woman i am not attracted to.

Yeah, you're exactly right. The friend zone can be the place of no return. Once you're placed there, most women only want you as a counselor to give her advice on how men think. I find myself confused about the nice guy rational. I appreciate ur outlook on making it easier for someone to affect someone who is hard to get to, but you lose alot of yourself because you want it so bad. It takes a dramatic climax for someones mindframe to change. For most women who are used to bad relationships, the nice guy is last choice especially when he gives his all. But it takes for someone to go through the jungle to get back to civilization.

there's plenty of people who are proud of their "unique" interests (including myself), but that doesn't help them. you'll never see a girl going to a comic book convention to pick up guys, even though there's plenty of "unique" nice guys there. not all things that are different are attractive, which is made clear by the fact that most people are attracted to others who are similar to them in some way.

I have tried for four years now to meet a girl, I have gotten girls to laugh but in the end they are never interested in me. Most of the women I have met in my life are all not interested in me. I even went to a dance, a football game, and a bonfire near or at my school, and women were hugging or kissing their significant other. So whats the point?
