The fact that there is a second person that gives you some back up takes away the lonely feeling Silent Hill games are known for. Same counts for the missing radio, fog and darkness. If it wasn't for the objects you find scattered around and the title. I would have been sure this was a completely different game.

@animefan8293 Lol well I get the gist of it...at least the part about "Mr. Hippy"... He was actually one of the victims in the beginning, when the deaths first started. The numbers carved into the vics are actually tallies (21/22 kind of thing) Well "Mr. Hippy" was like number 12 or something, so there's a different entity behind the whole killing thing and they're using Mr. Hippy to finish the rest of the vics off for something. I haven't figured out what.

@762full No, when I left things alone such as the clock, windows and TV, they'd actually stop being possessed for a few trips to the room. They'd come back of course but it saved me a lot of candles for later use.

@aneitalt Yes and no. Things like the TV, clock, and windows I didn't exorcise like the walkthrough guy did, because I never walk near them. They were no threat. But things like the child ghost that appears in Henry's closet, you do need to exorcise because you will always pass by that closet. There's another where Henry's bedroom wall gets funk on it from a haunt, well since you appear in the room on return, you need to get rid of that.
