I have a 2g I hate the back is made from a very bad material:((

the iphone 3g/3gs is much thicker then the 2g, but apple did a trick that makes it look thin by tapering it. The dimensions are actually pretty similar, and the thinness of the 2g makes up for the curves of the 3g/3gs.

@gpr1992 i took a trip to target and i tried on the cases for the 3g/3gs. The silicone cases fit for sure and the incase slider ones for the 3g actusally do fit the 2g but it doesnt lock closed completely but it is bearable. I was very surprised

hey man this is really interesting, thanks. i was thinking of getting an incase slider because the rebel was 3g. the rebel package includes video dock, screen, power connector ,protectors, which i presume wont fit the 2G

well ok the video dock still fits as it is designed to fit the contours of the Rebel case will still fit so don't worry about that but yes the protectors won't fit as it is designed for the 3g as well as the power connector but what the heck it's still worth it for me :D (still using it right now and already bought a new rebel)

Hey, I got my case yesterday and it looks really good. I actually like the chrome showing on the black. It looks sleek. May make a video. Thanks again! One question though, does the port cover stay in on yours? I'm having some trouble with it. It keeps popping out.

Haha glad it al worked out for ya and yeah i agree the Chrome gives it a little bit of accent :) hmmm about the port cover, i really don't use it that much coz yeah i find it to be a hassle putting it on and taking it out coz i use a dock so i really can't answer that but hmm...maybe just keep on trying and maybe after some time the rubber will adjust. hope this helps and you're welcome :)

No Problem :) and nope it didn't have any scratches. As long as you're careful taking out the case then there will be no scratches so no worries.

Nope. coz even if the chrome is showing, the sides of the case is still higher so it's a little bit hard to get to the chrome so again no worries :)
