  • Cesar would be proud

  • Damn! I am impressed!!!

That last little pup waiting like that was amazing. Nice job

  • Thanks for this video. We have learned a lot.

  • did the guy slap the dog at 1:48 o.o

  • He like them all trained

  • :D u should train my dog!

  • 8D They're so obedient.

  • This guy should be in charge of the army...

  • i think that was awesome. dogs in packs like that tend to not listent to a human n to put a bowl of foo like that. yeah that was awesome.

  • this is ansome job u got any tips on how u did this i need to work on this feeding tected with my own pack

  • Hey I am about to get another pit puppy. do you have advice on how to accomplish this?

  • think about the dog poop

  • That is wonderful. The respect for the pack leader is amazing. And that little one at the end waiting for their food, even tho' you know it was so hard for him/her to do so, did it anyway. Loved it. Great job.

  • nice job - to those who don't get it, it's obvious you love them very much, otherwise why go to the effort. Love the blue with the flipped ear

  • I really think you have done a great job with these dogs and I respect you for saving these dogs. I only have one question I seen a clip that showed some puppies you have. Are you also breeding dogs, and are most of these dogs pits?

  • Simply phenomenal! To have so many happy, eager dogs sit and wait until they are told "chow time" is incredible. I especially like the behavior of the smaller, brindle dog at 7 o'clock in the film. That pup SO wants to eat, but waits until very last to tuck into the food. What a happy bunch of dogs! Congratulations!

  • This is just awesome!

  • That is truly amazing, really shows they respect you and that you ARE the pack leader. :]

  • you are realy lucky to have them around you! where i live i'm allowed to have only rwo dogs... and feeding them was my bigest challenge....

  • Total respect. I teach my dogs exactly the same...only the most I've ever had was two at a time! This is fantastic.

And if you want your dogs to know who is running the show, control the food. And establishing who is running the show is required for a happy, safe dog.

  • .. einfach wunderbar !

  • Wow amazing

I've only managed to do this with 3 dogs :)

    "about afraid comment".

and they where not afraid of me and I didn't have to beat them !

  • I trained my old dog (rip) to do this! That little guy at the end looked like he was getting worried that he would be left out!

  • holy fuck.. fair play man thats amazin!!

  • wow :-)

  • ppl here comenting on ur vids are fools well the ones that saying the dogs look afraid of you .... um hello the Pack leader which is a pet scenario in this case wud be the human, has to take charge and when a dog senses that the leader is weaker then him or afraid or equal stas as him he will step all over you, meaning won't listen agression ect a dog shud never be in fear of his life of the owner/pack leader but he shud have some fear as ur symbol of pack leader meaning your rules..

  • This is fantastic! Can cats be trained to do this?

  • This is fantastic!!!! Could I train cats to do this?

  • chuck norris

  • Excellent course, now your dog can lead a life of Digineer a human being!

If you have this moral picture with her dogs, with or if you have children, enter into harvard easy!

  • i love that the dogs are waiting for the food :)

and they dog dos not seems afraid of you.many of the dog he have have been abused don't listen to bs men! keep the good work up!

sorry my English is epic fail xD

  • I felt pitty for some of these dogs, specially the last one.

  • awesome awesome job..with that many you have really taught them patience and they respect you..great job!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow! Beautiful! How many dogs do you have exactly? :D

  • Great job, I let all mine free feed, they only do the hog action 1 or 2 times, when they find they are still going out to train no matter what, they regulate themselves.

  • 愛がないのにこんな多い数飼うわけないだろ・・・・ちょっとは考えて物言えよ。

  • well, certainly strong breeds need some structure or else they take lead and become very controlling. (@wsmaacmj :-)

@Rescue Ink: or guys, what a Pleasure it was to discover your site !!! To see storng men not to actually be abusers (like a lot of times happens), but to use force to protect the weak ! Wow, my sincere admiration for you taking the lead and doing your work for animals, especially for breeds with a rep. Blessings !!!

  • Superb. I love the way they are all almost completely focused on you rather than the food. And I can see that they are happy to be led, otherwise they'd be impossible. No jumping around, no aggression, so basically, no stress. Each one understands that they WILL get fed, by you, and not be left out, so they wait.

    It's good to watch.

  • @wordreet I agree with you 100%! The comments by people that are saying the dogs are afraid or are intimidated don't know much about the hierarchy in a pack or how much happier a dog that's trained this way is. This kind of training is exactly what a dog needs. It's VERY good to watch. :)

  • Thats a whole lotta doggie patience! = )

  • WOW! That is some damn impressive discipline you've instilled in these dogs!! I agree with you - with a pack this large and the type of breeds you have, you absolutely have to let them know who is the Alpha male in the house. How do they deal with your significant other, especially the females if you have any? I knew someone with a female wolf hybrid and he was her Alpha male, but his wife was not her Alpha female.

  • Which dog is your fav? you know every parent has their favorite child, though they say " we love all equally"

    p.s: i wish i had a dog :(

  • Love this! How nice to see dogs with MANNERS. I keep a pack of 12 and mine are fed essentially the same way. No one touches until I give the ok. Mine are also licensed, spayed/neutered and UTD on all shots in case I need to emergency board them. I live in a small town which just this year offered basic obedience classes. 2 of my dogs are currently enrolled, with the rest to follow. Nice to see this video, it's a wonderful example of proper manners. Very very nice! Hat's off to you!

  • You have a lovely pack and obviously know how to be the group leader, well done :) One thing I noticed was what seemed to be whining/moaning at the start of the video, not entirely sure but it seemed like some one was protesting or moaning about the feeding ritual. I for one would have corrected that, but as I'm only looking at a video I can't judge or criticise. Lovely to see a pack of mainly bully breeds under control and happy to be in a follower position.

    Gorge Rottie! :)

  • i love the little guy at the end of the video...

  • wow, you're my idol

  • Great video! They sure see you as a pack leader. Very impressed. I always make my dogs do the same thing but I don't nearly have as many. I feel bad because sometimes I forget to give them the OK and they will NOT eat until I do.

  • 正直あまり愛が感じられませんな

  • Brilliant.

  • ¡Hora de comer!

  • Nice... Very nice... =)

  • Deus me livre de criar o animalzinho de estimação pra ficar com esse comportamentoo...coitadinhos.. mas eh melhor do q eles ficarem sem comer ne

  • Awesome! I feed my dogs the same way but I don't have such a big pack - just two dogs. They have to be calm and submissive to get receive their food.

  • awwww lol :)

  • Caraaalhoo em, que educação!

    IAUEHUIAEUIHAER

  • i loved it... I'll teach my dog to obey me hehehehe tks or sharing

  • That`s what ou call respect :D

  • I think who sais the dogs are afraid hasn't any experience with dogs. You can see them wagging their tails and that means they are happy to see him and to get food. It's a great efford to train dogs for this behavior.

  • WoW Maestroo¡¡¡¡

  • I think it is wonderful how you have respect from all breeds, all different type of abuse cases and most importantly the wonderful love for animals you have to take them in in the first place. You will always have people watching through their own windows critisizing so, let it roll off your back and not wreck your day.. These dogs obviously respect you and respect is a facet of love. Well done, keep up the good work sir. (if I have posted this twice, pls delete one :)

  • Fantastic video! Now if people would begin to understand how wonderful dogs treat humans when they are treated LIKE DOGS. You wouldn't treat your dog like a cat, a parrot, or like a fish so why treat it like a human?

  • I love this so much. Now if I could get my dogs to be so focused. Ha Ha

  • I think they look healthy and its no bad thing to have discipline. I highly doubt you get that kind of obedience from being mean or something. It makes them nice dogs. Dogs are a little like kids in that without discipline they are a danger even to themselves.

  • Os cachorros são impressionantes, cada dia que passa eu aprendo com o Ozzy.

  • what kind of dog is the puppy at the end?

  • Human. Wins. Alpha-male-iality!!!

  • I read the comments below, and I have to say, these dogs DO NOT have fear or intimidation anywhere in their body language. It is a pack of mostly bully breeds and dominant breeds under control. Even the youngest is well behaved, and understands.

If more people understood, we would have far less dogs dumped in shelters and rescue for behavior problems.

These dogs show no signs of abuse, just very good, calm behavior.

You cannot be your dogs "friend"! It is a dog!

  • Just feed the damn dogs already...... You must not have any power or control in your personal life or job and have to play superior to the dogs to feel good about yourself.

  • @smokememen There are millions of dogs put to death every year in shelters across the United States, especially bully breeds, because people FAIL to have control over their dogs. You think having control over animals powerful enough to kill people like these pit bulls in this video is a BAD thing? Wow! A serious reality check is needed here.

  • The last dog is amazingly smart.

  • wow, you did a really good job training them!

  • I can tell these are happy dogs. I'm sure they respect you very much and because you took the time to teach them self-control you respect them as well. It's awesome to see ppl who understand dogs.

  • THATS IT??????

  • Hi man. It's great what you have accomplished with your dogs but to me they seem a bit intimidated by you. I certainly don't want my dogs to be afraid of me.

  • @wsmaacmj Almost all of them have come from abusive situations so how is it they seem intimidated by me?

  • @Packethic I'm sorry I used wrong word, I don't know why but they seem te be afraid of you or something. I want my dog to think of me as a friend . . but then again I might be wrog, it's just my opinion. No hard feelings :)

  • @wsmaacmj No hard feelings, check out the interview on Bark Radio and you will hear some of the things these dogs go through:( I have to implement structure, rules and boundaries with a pack this big and what you see hear is respect. These dogs are my life and if you check out some of the other videos you get to see them playing and having fun but meal time cant be fun and games with a pack of power breeds.

  • @Packethic Oh I see now, I understand that it's respect for leader. Great dogs btw. Peace and thx.

  • @Packethic

You are absolutely right here! You're doing an amazing job! THESE DOGS ARE GREAT!

  • @Packethic are all these dogs yours?

  • @Packethic like most dog owners you confuse discipline and control with intimidation and thus why most people cannot control their dogs.

  • @wsmaacmj I think the dogs are precious. It did seem to me like you make them wait too long and the ritual is too long, but that's just my opinion. I will check out your other videos. God bless.

  • @wsmaacmj The dogs aren't afraid of him. They respect him & look at him as the "alpha". They're just waiting for the signal that it's ok for them to eat. That's exactly how it should be. Dogs that are trained this way are much better behaved & are happier over all. Dogs need a leadership role in their lives. Domesticated or wild, dogs are pack animals & if they're trained this way, the bond between them & their human is much stronger than if the dogs had no training or guidance.

  • @wsmaacmj They're no intimidated by him. They respect him. There's a huge difference. It doesn't seem like you understand much about a dogs body language.

  • 1. thats really alot of dogs , i presume u love them otherwise u wouldnt do it just for kicks

    2. u trained dogs very good .. i really must say i am impressed

    good work :D

  • cute dogs :D

  • They're like little soldiers. Great job :)

  • la ultima parte esta genial, cuando el mas chico no comienza a comer hasta q le acercan su plato WOW!!!

  • NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM...

  • Dude you have way too much dogs :) but you do seem to know how to handle them ... thumbs up ...

  • how many different strategies at feeding did you try before deciding this was the best one? this may sound like a stupid question, but do you have any tips for owners of messy or picky eaters? thanks!

  • @lookn4smitty this is the way we have always taught them to eat - sit - wait and then a release command. we started with the small pack and as it grew - everyone else learned the same. as for messy eaters? placemats under their bowls? if they eat fast you can buy bowls with a raised island in the center that forces them to eat around it and slows them down. you can also use a smaller bowl turned upside down for the same effect.

  • @Packethic Thanks so much for the tips!

  • @lookn4smitty ...and for picky eaters - man that is work - from working in boarding facilities and dealing with stressed dogs who wont eat - we would often add a tablespoon of baby food (beef, chicken, lamb, turkey flavored) to entice them further. otherwise - trial and error. try exercising the dog more to make them hungry - or making them work for their food - like sitting and waiting - or try to get them to smell it first to entice them too - it makes them want it more...good luck :)

  • klasično izdrkavanje , v

  • in the beginning i thought they r gonna make a square formation like an army and wait like that and i was like WTF, no way. this is amazing. cant even imagine the patience that you had to train them like that, but i supose that later when u already have 6,7,8,... dogs the new ones also learn from them so it easier than in the beginnign when u train every dog by urself form the ground

  • wow!

how the hell did you train them to "wait" cuz my dogs......lets just say they're not as well mannered

  • thats being a pack leader, every dog knows its place

  • That is a lot of doggies :D

  • Beautiful. I don't understand why so many people are getting upset, this is how most animal groups eat, the leader has first pickings and the lower dogs only get their turn when the leader has finished. This is the dogs respecting their handler by giving them what he wants, and the handler respecting the dogs by giving them the structure and leadership they need. Control of an animal as potentially dangerous as a dog is vitally important. Those who forget this lose fingers, blood and children.

  • Excellent dogs. It took a competent human to foster this mellow behavior. They will lead happier calmer lives.

  • I like the one staying in his bed. Might as well be comfy while he waits!! LOL

  • I only have three dogs (a corgi, a pit bull and a boxer/shepherd - all rescues) and the occasional foster, and I do the same thing with them! Spazzy bowl rushing/inhaling food is NOT allowed in my house! For those who think this guy hits it dogs, you obviously don't know how to train dogs because it DOES NOT take hitting to get a dog to behave. ANYONE can get their dogs to do this is they take them time to educate themselves.

p.s. That little pup at the end is ridiculously adorable!!

  • OMG!!

  • Geez man! Feeding this many dog requires some budget right? :) Cool video, hats off!

  • Woah! Those are obedient dogs!

  • I applaud you! It's so great to see keepers who actually understand canine psychology and apply it so expertly. I'm sure your dogs have a wonderful life, secure in the comforting knowledge that they have a strong leader who never wavers. Bravo! I wish everyone understood this!

  • I was expecting for the dogs to gobble their food down like so many do. Pleasantly surprised to see what actually happened. For those who think he HITS his dogs, you simply don't understand dogs. These dogs respect their pack leader and are calm submissive. You don't get hat by abusing a pup .. or any animal for that matter. Good job and kudos for the rescues!

  • Very Impressive

  • Some very beautiful breeds there -- and looks like they've got a pretty caring owner :)

  • Very good!

  • Hahahaha!!! This is awesome!!!

  • WOW, that's some real control.

  • Way to establish dominance! Compare this to all the "feeding cats" videos out there. Of course, it never once occurs to the dogs that, if they all worked together, they could probably take this guy. =^[.]^=

  • you're awesome! i'm jealous you have sucha big family of dogs... thanks for sharing this video.

my stepmom hates pets and i can't get a dog :) this is real cool to watch

  • AH HA HA HA HA HA HA!!! XD

Those dogs have some wicked awesome patience!!!

And apparently, so do YOU! :D

    Great job! :)

  • =) looking at the puppies wait for the food, made me feel like I was waiting for food. Very well trained pups and very healthy looking too, takes a big heart to rescue so many of them.

  • oh my god thats awesome.

  • that's impressive

  • Very nice!! I know what it takes to achieve this calmness at feeding time!! So many people don't take the time with their dogs. I am working on this with mine, but we haven't gotten there yet. I've got 5-9 dogs here at any given time(ever changing combo of 5 of our own + fosters + dogsit dogs). All but one of mine will sit in their places and wait, and she will wait but still dances around while waiting. Ignore the idiots. Your dogs behavior speaks louder than any idiot online.

  • I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess you were in the service at one time or another.

  • awesome OB!!!

  • GOOD dogs.

  • to anyone who thinks this is abuse, these are NOT dogs who are afraid. these are dogs that respect their pack leader. and to anyone who's still skeptical... just look at those portions! these dogs are living the dream! amazing job, @Packethic

  • This is absolutely amazing man. What state are you in and can you teach my puppy these things lol.

  • I am personally amazed! I admire how well you have your dogs trained.

  • Good job, very impressive. Just think, the anti-cesar millanists consider this animal abuse!

  • I'm looking at my 4 dogs fighting over a fanbelt. Swapsies?

  • Total respect to you for taking in these dogs and being a good pack leader to them.

  • that's... the dogbending avatar!!!!!!

  • It's amazing how well you control your pack and how well they respect you

  • how did you do that?!

  • you guys are awesome people, and your dogs have great manners. :)

  • Amazing... :P

  • Nice job man

  • wtf?you think you are in army?

  • nice dogs. they look delicious.

  • @PhinnyCobbler and so does your fuckin mother u monster

  • @MrDeathcore15 monster? I just have refined tastes.

  • @PhinnyCobbler i didn't agree, I just said about your whore...sorry i mean your mother..you stupid dog-eater...u ppl there in asia need a civilianization lesson.. ..die and rot.

  • @MrDeathcore15 I really don't see the problem with it. People in america domesticate Pigs, and yet you eat them every day. Its just another animal

  • Interesting to see so many different types of dog all act the same way.

  • Great control. The only people who would criticize it are clearly not fit to own dogs.

  • ha! that is awesome!!!!! I love the patience they all show!!! Great looking bunch ya got there!!!!! Keep it up.

  • Nicely done man!

  • nice job. how many dogs do u have?

  • lol @ retards who can't train their dogs assuming he beats them

  • awesome

  • Packethic, what an incredible video. Thanks for posting this. I love how you've trained your dogs and how you handled them in this video. Its awesome when you can train one dog to be as obedient and respectful as all of your dogs seem to be. Nice work keep it up!

  • i herd you can train ppl to do this too.

  • Imagine trying to do this with cats.

  • The ignorance in some of these comments astounds me. Your dogs are so well tamed, it is something to be in aw over. There is only a fraction of dog owners out there who have enough patience to do what you accomplished.

Those who bitched about this video did so because they themselves probably have a dog at home whom they were never able to tame in the first place because they never understood how.

  • Nice!

  • I trained my dogs in the same way. My staffy would not take the food until i touched it with my finger. Sometimes i would forget and hear him crying at his full food bowl. Once I touched it, then he ate. He would NEVER pick up things off the ground and NEVER take a snack from anyone. My buds would try to get him to eat a snack, but if I didn't touch it, he would not even sniff it. I also poison trained him so he would not ever pick up anything off the ground no matter how good it smelled.

  • I was expecting them to leap on him and start tearing the food bag to pieces, but I was surprised.

Also, I don't understand why everyone thinks this guy beats his dogs or anything, it is possible to ,you know, train your dog and shit.
