  • This was recorded on the day my grandma was born. How cool is that?

  • @maycopar Cool!!~I give this to your granny for her birthday.

  • @preservationhall01 doubleplusgood....:-)

  • Love this song. It starts out the memorable "Flappers, Vamps and Sweet Young Things" c.d. on a jaunty and ebullient tone. The charm of these vintage recordings are one of a kind.

  • I have just discovered this fantastic singer, and I am so glad to have done so.

This is a great post, and I thank you for sharing.

  • I really love this cute lil song. I consider it a quintessential flapper song. You know she's gonna go out for a date, instead of meeting at home where parents can watch them. Dating was a new hot thing back then.

  • Thanks for your "right on" description of this 'lil song.

  • I like your presentation on this one. Jane is always tops.

  • Thanks for dropping by and for your comment.

  • Never heard of this entertainer before. Hope we'll see more of her - 5* for Ms Jane

  • I love it, not because it's old, but it's so good music !

    Thanks for sharing !

    5/5

    Peace Brother !

  • I as research the "20s" it seems that an amazing amount of really good music was produced from 1926-1930. It was a period of brilliance that we have not acheived since. Thanks for your comment. PAX PH01

  • I have this on a c/d it really depicts the 20's......surprising Jazz from Victor.......

  • Nat Shilkret and his boys really rocked on this one. He was usually a little more reserved.
