hey i have an mp3 like this and mine had like 5 songs pre uploaded to it, but i cant remember them, did yours, if so can u tell me what they were called i really loved the songs

I have one of those. One of my friends gave it to me a couple years ago when the got a newer one. The top half of the screen does not work, it has no USB cover, the voice recorder is broken and I have had to glue the screen cover back on it once but it still works. I don't even use it's memory, I just use my 2 gb sd card. I like that feature best. Have you used any of the newer pearl mp3 players?

I've got one of these things. Great little player, simple to use, works great. Or at least it did until I left it idle for a couple months with a battery inserted. The battery didn't explode but the player won't turn on, either. Unless it's plugged into a USB port in which case I can still use the device for storage. Went to get a firmware update from RCA and was able to download that, but it came with a trojan that Kaspersky luckily caught.

Still like the player, though.

i put music on mine on the computer but when i took it out the mp3 says no songs

I like that it uses a battery because you don't have to be at a computer or have a usb charger nearby when you run out of power. All you need is an extra battery. It even tells you how much power the battery has. The Eveready Gold batteries last about a day if you leave it on all the time.

i had to format it and now it will not recognize the mp3 files and says i have no music even though i put it all back.... HELP

Got one. Dont use it much as it is my backup mp3. Very good for on the go situations. plug it in load up fast. or like he said, sd from phone, computer, etc.

i had that excate problem when i first got it try clicking the m button{or menu button} and go on music and see if its on there. Thats what i did. Now it works perfect, yes i know its very confusing at first even when you read the setup.
