How can they be bagged as paraglider pilots? At what elevation do they determine that you are no longer a kite and suddenly a Paraglider? I would hope the authorities would have better things to do than try to chase the guys down. Great vid by the way.

@nikalaitzian yeah the wind is going upwards from the slopes; (i dont advertise that you try this at all, but:) to go against the wind you simply have to dwpower a little (how much you are gonna need to find out yourself) . Stay Save! -> you dont want a line rip or anything whilst soaring ;)

It is east of augusta, thats correct. But i was closer, maybe 5 miles. I don`t recommend it to do, unless you are a very good kitesurfer or a paraglider!

The needed wind depends on the Wingload, that means the weight per squaremeter on your wing. We flew with small kites, that means a high wingload, so the wind was in avarage 35 kts. Take care, in these conditions you are normally way overpowerd...

It was in Western Australia, in Augusta extactly. Try it only on sandy dunes and with new kites, imagin what happens when a line breaks....
