the accompaniment is great, i don't see what's wrong with it. Any Jim o'rourke fan will agree with me i guess, sounds like Loose fur is playing along :)
I've loved her voice since 1971. Back then i admired Judee Sill & Laura Nyro. Judee was a totally unique artist who LIVED her lyrics. Genius comes from suffering and, good God, Judee suffered. But her light still shines brightly thanks to people like 'babby1006'.
I know,i know...it's impossible to get the album here in Canary Islands :P..i was also chattin anyway and it was hard to concentrate for me and remember the name of Heart Food...thanks anyway!
I think Judee Sill is wonderful but the band accompaniment here is a horrible mess. I guess this is a demo but I'd rather hear her sing this accompanied by herself on piano alone.
@musiator How boring! If it was just her and acoustic guitar, it would not have the same uplifting drive the arrangement is going for! I guess a few nth notes are way off for you, huh? zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
This song played by clammbon who is japanese BAND. Please hear it by all means.

Ugh. what are you people talking about? This is one of her best songs. Don't soil her memory with your pretentious complaints.
"Lone star, light the lowlands" I love that line the way it sounds.

Good grief! the accompaniment hurts my ears. What a pity to pour so much garbage over such a beautiful song.

agree, with her, solo guitar, solo piano and voice-that's it.

If things had turned out a little different, perhaps she would've given Joni a run for her money. For a while, at least.

Judee Sill was an amazing talent. I think I replayed this 8 or 10 times today. Thanks for posting, babby1006!
