I think that tribal fusion would incorporate more chest movements and snake arms. Tribal dancers bend at the waist a lot, and in a lot of ways (serpentine moves, backbends, sidebends, etc), so they are not upright as much.

Also, the arms are usually held up higher (with the elbows higher than the shoulder if possible).

What you did looks more like a slower "cabaret" style.

That said, in my opinion it looks even better than most tribal ;)

I am not an expert on tribal either. But since I started off with tribal classes, I know a little bit. I quickly got more interested in oriental style instead, though... that's what I do now.

There are some great tribal DVDs by Rachel Brice and Sharon Kihara if you want to learn more, and you can always watch performance videos.

It's good that you want to be versatile, but I hope that won't change your current style, which I like very much!
