  • 4:32 Custard Pie *__*

  • Love the vid but I can do without the b/s political add that u tube has planted on this and many other vids.

  • Guitar playing sounds fine to me. For some truly awful guitar playing, check out JIMMY PAGE at the Atlantic Records 40th anniversary show. Obviously whoever criticzes the playing here is going on name recognition rather than actual knowledge about the instrument.

  • it's the sound...not the players...i Stood front center on a chair in front of Mr. Plant on this tour...i hear that band...Tall Cool One was like double candy...eyes watching it...ears hearing it...Robert Plant in my face...unbelievable. OKC-Non-Stop-Go Tour...Myriad...:)))

  • I remember watching it on tv with my Dad

  • I can't believe the comments about Doug Boyle - I've seen him playing live with Robert Plant and 70s prog rock band Caravan, and both times I was blown away with his playing. He is a seriously underrated guitarist. With Caravan he was playing an early headless Steinberger guitar (before they were taken over by Gibson) and he really knew his stuff.

  • @pint6x I know, Doug Boyle was great! I think the negative comments about him are unjustified. Maybe it's the sound quality. I always liked him in Plant's band. Overall, this was my favorite line-up of Plant's band.

  • 1:07 "Im a WINNER"

  • Didn't Page join him on stage at this concert, I thought he did Anyone know?

  • @swlnyc1 Yes, Page joined Plant and they did Misty "Mountain Hop, Wearing and Tearing and Rock and Roll."

  • this was on the "Manic Nirvana" tour in 1990. I got to kiss him after the show! <3

  • for the guys who commented on the terrible guitar playing just think of it this way they got to go on tour with robert plant, and you NEVER will so that pretty much says it all, and they got paid big money to do it, and i dont think you guys could even make a buck at a pub anyway so there you go. ROCK ON! ROBERT PLANT

  • @spookyized Love your comment! So true! ♥

  • @LysergicAaron You my friend are a dumb prick

  • 20 years ago, tell me about it, i was at Knebworth 1990 it was a puka day !

  • Can you believe this was 20 years ago? I remember watching this on MTV like it was yesterday.

  • lotta feedback, good clip though. Plant is the man!!!!

  • The Guy that plays the organ/piano has the microphone volume to low .................but the song rocks anyway\m/\m/.Go Robert Go!!!!

  • JEEEZ.. that guitarist is pretty bad.Talk about a rough style of playing.I've seen people in pubs play better.

  • Agreed. The guitarist leaves a lot to be desired. Hard to believe these guys are the best Plant could come up with....

  • what pub

  • Any pub.

  • percy is the best!!! i love him so much!

  • i was at this show !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • me 2

  • its my fav Percy solo songs!

  • I want to be him and marry him ; ) lol

  • I love this song and Led equally.

  • uh yeaaaaaaaah too hot I can't stand it

  • you arent alone, i can hardly stand this, this man is too hot, it never seems to fail

  • yea he is a human hot flash lol !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I was there - whole day brilliant , once in a lifetime experience , so many talented people in one place , awesome.

  • really?? u watch that gig since 1990? u rock!

  • used to run listening this.

  • Check Doug Boyles website and news via his artist Myspace...

  • its a 27 fret hamer not ibanez FYI

  • It is a cool video and a great song, but it's never going to better what he did with Led Zep - nothing can touch that.

Having said that, Robert Plant's solo stuff was probably closer to Led Zep's sound then any of the other surviving members' output.

At this stage, Plant had Doug Boyle on lead guitars - here playing a light blue Ibanez - a seriously talented player.

  • @pint6x i guess Boyle played a Hamer guitar....

  • @pint6x it's a hamer guitar, can't remember the model.

is it just me, or does doug, at certain angles and photographs look like a young jimmy page?

  • @keef71 I was just thinking the same thing! Especially in live clips, Doug Boyle resembles a young Page. He sometimes moves like him, too. It's funny how Plant worked with a Page look-alike (Doug Boyle), and Jimmy worked with a Plant look-alike (David Coverdale).

  • @avocate201 Even more strange is that Jimmy Page now looks like Susan Boyle. I wonder if Doug Boyle's any relation
