The very next thing you should have is what poll that was from and when it was taken. Or at least put up a link to all of the polls. I was always told to trust but verify.

@Battleschnodder if you go by capital gains income as your sole source of income than its less, but the top tax is what 35 percent, the evil Bush tax lowered the lowest bracket from 15-10 thats 50 percent, but TYT/MSNBC never mentions that, my family owns a small business and since they generate more than 250k in revenue they are taxed that way, sure Buffet doesn't pay high taxes because his income is from capital gains, so when you say the top bracket is less than average you're full of shit

Fanny and Freddy were a part of that, but BECAUSE they were co-opted by private interests. Lowering taxes exacerbated the situation because it cut out huge sources of TAX MONEY, which act as cushions for lower classes when economy falters. Not difficult to understand. How have Bush's tax cuts helped? It sure seems like they went hand in foot with our declining economy.
