Work on it a couple of years ...get the box and scales down pat, and you can shred flydan says " Musical Value " . very little with most shredders. its just working the frets... but real talent composes, shows depth and absolutely must and does have Musical talent, take Adrian Below's shreds..total musical value..and a designed pattern that he comes back to.... not mindless.

So to musically and talent wise to compare Gilmor to your average shredder in Kaos.. is a joke..

I live in kansas, I decided to drive to my dad's house all the way in texas, which is a fourteen hour drive. I was listening to pink floyd as well as On An island, I was listening to this song, i must have been about six hours into the drive, which is about halfway when david sang "So much behind us, still far to go." It was beautiful, but reminded me that I had a long way to go.
