It's not that simple. People are not just one thing in this world. What you talking about is peoples identity. It consists of many things. Being Armenian is but one. Its our ethnic identity. I know its a big issue in the Armenian community, because we have so many diverse groups of Armenians being scattered across the world and maybe most importantly we almost lost our identity in the Genocide. So today we want to define Armenianhood and cling into it as if our lives depend on.
But you see this only shows our weakness, our insecurity about our own self and our inability to define ourselves. We shouldnt be trying to convince others of who we are, if we already know it.
