be serious. clearly you must have been one of those pansy forwards then (assuming you played hockey). hockey is an intense sport. tensions flare up, and this happens quicker in a rivalry. better to sqaure off man to man than cheap shot somebody which is far more likely when fighting is not allowed. what hockey really is (at its best), is a near perfect blend of speed, finesse, grit and emotion. fighting falls into the latter two, and has its place in the game.
