@dragonforceisasem One they where, on the Carboniferous, where the plants fulfilled the earth with a loot of oxygen they where huge, all the insects where enormous actually, but a big body consumes a lot of oxygen, and also this era wasn't called by this name to make a joke, the oxygen burns easily making a loot of forest to burn into carbon. So when the levels of oxygen where gotten down the animals with no lungs, like the insects, had to decrease his size due to evolution to survive.

@dragonforceisase Spiders wont need to be Human-sized to make the Human race start declining by Predation, if Spiders were the size of 3-4 foot long dogs or cats we'd be in big trouble, the reason most spiders are harmless to humans is our size, it makes their minute dose of venom less effective, "harmless" spiders would need much bigger dose to subdue us, but if they were 3-4 feet long, we'd be screwed, theyd have Speed, Stealth, superior sense, and deadlier venom, and much stronger silk
