W O W ! ! ! I'm using an Nexstar 1100 (11" scope) with a kinda cheap webcam and Registax and my pics look like crap! The seeing and transparancy is good but still bad. any tips for me?
They are. But you would need an extremely large telescope to see any movement in the clouds in just 1 hour timespan. I'm not sure even Hubble could do it. If you don't believe it - try it for yourself.
As I said, for the movements to be seen you would need a very large telescope or wait a few days. The animation you are referring to was made by a spacecraft over the span of one month. Again, you are free to try for yourself or see other animations made by amateurs.
No, I took a 1 or 2 min avi video in intervals of 5 minutes. The I stacked some 200-300 best images from each avi in a program called Registax. And finally, I combined the results to create this animation.
could have been longer... at least loop it so we don't have to keep replaying the video...

How many fps you use to avi capture?
Thanks!

I think this was done with 5 or max 10 FPS.

Fantastic Job! I use a pocket digital to take AVI's then stack for single images. Need to try your time lapse technique - looks amazing!

Why winds are not moving then?

Fake, kill yourself
verycrazyghoul 2 years ago
It's not fake, I have the original AVI's from which I made this short animation.

I am not sure, but you can see clouds in this animation, why can't see it's movement then?
Also, shadows are not soft, it reminds me somekind of computer lights.
Look animation in wiki, it is the real one, and compare shadows with your video.

Well, I'm still not sure, but if I was wrong, I am sorry.

That's a good resolution. What altitude were you observing from? What was the weather like? How high was Jupiter above the horizon?
joshig1983 3 years ago
The altitude was around 800m. I really don't remember the other details anymore.

Very nice. I've been looking into Intes scopes. Could you share with camera and mount information?
jmjtoob 3 years ago
Thanks! Camera was a ToUcam Pro, and the mount is HEQ-5.
bobonajbolji 3 years ago
A 7"!!! How did you get the moon and Jupiter in the same exposure? Or was it a merge?
taqyon 3 years ago
No, it wasn't a merge. I don't know how, I used standard ToUcam settings as I always do.
bobonajbolji 3 years ago
So those are individual frames? Snapshots taken every couple of minutes?
taqyon 3 years ago

This animation alone is enough to expose the hoax at the pyramid of the hoaxes of end time, Heliocentrism
