All sounds great and just what I am looking for - 100%... except.... Is not working. Is that because changes have not been formally made available or is it because I'm using IE8 and XP here at work and need more recent versions?
@3butu If so, this is problematic as the entire point of cloud-based technology is to allow mobility so that you can use any terminal with internet connection to access your documents. Essentially this means I cannot adequately access, upload and organise my documents from work, internet cafes, airports, friends' houses etc, unless they have latest editions.
@3butu This really limits the basic utility of Skydrive if it is so heavily dependent on the operating system or web browser version. That is, what is the point of it if it is not mobile?
@3butu I just used google chrome and all is working, so answered my own question. But this begs the question why MS would bring out a product incompatible with its own web browser but compatible with a competitors browser??
can you please bring all of these changes to devices.live.com. when looking at folders that are synced through mesh the interface and capabilities are still absolutely terrible. you can't move, upload, rename, edit or do anything.
The window that opens to drag and drop files only appears on Iintener Explorer. Chrome and Firefox open the popup for explore files to open. But when it is uploading you can drag and drop more files to the upload queue in any browser, so you don't have to wait everything it's up to select more files. That's pretty cool!
I hope the move option doesn't make files and folders just disapear like it did with me :/ just had a look and finally, good job M$! :) now, I just need hotmail to hurry up and get the new version of that to me with categories and nokia to realise the lumia 800 in cyan and i'm sorted!
Only in IE10 hey and where do we download that from.

Great changes! But we still need:
1) The ability to upload entire folders.
2) Devices integration.
