  • What do you mean by stock internals @ 9 psi? What type of Turbo you put in.

  • How much did you spend on this car?

  • I always wanted a turbo celica like this. I could never get away from my DSMs tho.

  • did u have to remove your a/c in order to put in the turbo? i keep bein told you gotta out the a/c compressor in order to fit all the turbo components?

  • damn niceeeee!

  • sexy

  • Those things don't rev very high, do they? It's a nice car, but damn, that 3rd was short. I guess I'm just used to 8.2k redline =/

  • @Enemyofreali7y 8400

  • The side airbags were optional on the Celica but standard on the RSX but yet both cars cost aobut the same

  • cool

  • Yes !

  • Respond to this video...

what body kit is it .... how low did u lowered it . is it a 15"rims?

  • CELICAS ARE FUCKING SLOW

  • @Chunpower So is your riced out Civic.

  • Wow, 279 whp at 9psi? On stock internals, that's impressive!

  • Quisiera Que Me alludaras protector de la ONU va uvicado El Censor Que Va En El Filtro de Aire de interino de Cuando ya es turbo Mismo Que Viene del intercooler o

    s l

  • Yeah, I've seen similar builds that get 400hp from the Celica. Lets say you buy one of these for 8k, then you drop about 15k in aftermarket mods on it and you got yourself a 400hp sports car for 23k. Not bad.

  • @ithaclies Except for the fact that it's FWD. Get Supra with that money instead..

  • @schroetter2011 my moped can easily get 400 to the tiny 2 inch wheels

  • gsx or gtfo

  • thanks

  • What kind of headers do you buy if you have turbo is it the the regular racing headers or the Turbo Header Manifold? Whats the difference ?

    Thanks

  • read ur wuestion slowly. u answered ur own Q. and the diff is that a 4/1 or even a 4/2/1 header goes straight to ur tailpipe. wit a turbo it forces most of the air bak into the system. turbo pressuizes the air thus more power. idk how i can put that any simpler

  • Hey guys , does this mean i can do this also with my corolla xrs 2006?... i mean it is the same engine so... anyone help?

  • VVT-i

  • vvtl-i

  • @813Geane

    VVTL-i

  • yeah baby 280 hp

  • i don't mean to sound stupid, but how come i see a lot of other GTS but they don't have the same body look as yours;few comes with your bodykit stock out of the lot;figured its more faster than the other celicas gts on the road stock, but is your gts a different type of gts?and does it come with automatics;kinda tired driving manuales?

  • @NinjaStinger You can buy all sorts of aftermarket (Third Party Made) bodykits and parts for the Celica. The GTS is faster than the GT and yes, there is an automatic, but it drives and rides a little bit different than the manual, not much though. Also, the manual is a little bit faster than the automatic, but I have both and like the Automatic better for stop and go traffic, and the manual for longer or more exciting driving routes.

  • pretty kool, gts's look good dropped

  • what body kit is on that

  • its the stock action package body kit by toyota

  • Wow 280 hp......

  • have u took it out on the track?

  • Comment removed

  • Beautiful ride man, I could stare at that ride all day.

  • Too bad its always going to be a FWD

  • next mod should definently be a torque dampner.

  • ka durka durka allah horse power

  • looks super clean

  • nice celica

  • now thats what i call music

  • Dude nice TRD kit man

  • pretty clean looking GTS. Nice TRD kit, as well.

  • beautiful car :) good numbers too, now put it up to 15psi hehe

  • why is it only 279? your suppost to have like almost 20 or close to 30 more hp than that.

  • power to the wheels, not the crank.

  • I mean they are standard on the RSX and both cars cost about the same

  • nice

  • nice man, i really like their interiors alot. and i always wanted one lol

  • May I ask your weight and height?

  • celica has side airbags

  • Okay then..that's what I thought. Good for a first time car then I guess.

  • Auto X Dyno... that is my dyno :)

  • My brother is getting a Celica...are they really good or not? The HP doesn't impress me, but the car looks pretty sporty.

  • car is sporty. can get way too expensive to mod though. had my gt-s for 2 years now and want to get rid of it to buy a car with a better motor for building. overall, i see it as a "cute toy"

  • @KUja001 even tho the horse power isnt reallythere, its a 2400lb car, and by comparison of hp the celica contends with 50+hp cars stock

  • very clean, can i ask what model year, approx how many miles the car had on it when you boosted it, and how is the car holding up today?

  • 2004 Celica GTS and it had around 60k miles when it was boosted. The car is now pushing upwards of 400whp without any problems.

  • @Redliner9k plan on doing a RWD or AWD conversion?

  • where did you get the turbo kit? it looks like a clean install...

  • Custom

  • How much boost you running? I got a 2002 jap spec Allex (Sportivo / T-Sport depending on where you are) and I would like to boost. The Honda guys are boasting too much.

  • 9psi in the video

  • I agree. Get the energy suspension motor mount inserts. They're like 30 bucks on ebay and worth every penny.

  • middle of summer i'll put something up for u guys turbo setup for my 2000 gt... nice job with your 2zz turbo i see u sellin it on modified...

  • I have an RSX-S on only 6.5psi getting 243.4whp. I'd recommend a torque damper for the engine moevement

  • yea, ive seen a lot of dyno runs and thats a lot of engine movements, mayb get some stiffer mounts.

  • that engine wants to jump out....really nice car man

  • Solid setup man, stock setup is fine for bolton kits, dont let brochanics that only read tell you turbo is not good for high compression vehicles. You just proved them wrong with your dyno, However I would recommend upgrading valves and springs to prevent bending your valves and adding a LSD.

  • 315whp were accomplished in this Celica (stock internals).

  • Not reccommended tho due to the high compression. It is more safer to slap on a turbo in a GT and still daily drive it. Thats what i did and didnt hae to worry about anything. I hope you dont carry home a pistol some day. I love the sound. Great work!

  • Do you really know what r u talking about?

  • Actually I do since i have a GT. I had a buddy put a turbo on his car not changing any internals. Once his turbo was broken in. He brought it to the track and blew his motor in 2nd gear...All GTS owners should know that you need to change them in order to go FI. Especially with miles over 60k

  • With the proper tuning, a stock 2zz can handle well over 260fwhp

  • the record for a fully built 2zz in a celica is 666whp. i think he was running 27lbs of boost

  • that's what happens when you're not running a standalone... let me guess, you're running with an FMU right?... haha... its harder to tune high comp. motors... low comp motors give u a little more elbow room to tune... high comp actually yanks out more hp than a low comp motor (running with the same setup at the same amount of boost)...

  • Looks and sounds clean! =D

  • not bad...

  • Stock internals?

    RC 12.5 ???

  • that dyno technitian looks sexy

  • 2zz v-tec??? wtf??? jajaja!

  • i don't hear the hard-hitting 2zz v-tec. I doubt this is a GTS.

  • You might want to first of all look at the engine bay and see it's a 2zz. After that listen @15 secs when you can clearly hear Lift kicking in. In turbo 2zz's it sounds diffrently than in NA 2zz's.

  • x2 its def a 2zz u def hear the lift from the vvtli...not v-tec...

  • lol wow how did i miss that. sorry for the retarded comment

  • nice! what kind of turbo are you running? and is 279 whp safe on stock internals in the long run?
