Okay, what I don't understand how some people will comment "just thought I would tell you that you were rushing really bad" or "oh my god...the rushing"....well can I say that the title clearly says incredible fast....and the word rushing makes it seem like they were going fast unintentionally
ok go to second 42 of the video it changes to 19:03 and there is a minute left of the video and by the last second it didnt change to 19:04 so it was sped up
@herza456 chrissakes moron, if it was sped up the minute on the counter would change SOONER not later. Are you really that stupid? You are even more wrong than that though, because the minute changes at 0:43 not 0:42 and the vid ends at 1:42 so you WOULD NOT EXPECT THE COUNTER TO CHANGE BECAUSE IT'S LESS THAN 60 SECONDS YOU IDIOT!
Wow! I can play that on the flute, and I'm just learning to play the saxophone so maybe I could play it on the saxophone someday too! That guy did a nice job.
the thing i like about this is that he is so calm and not rushing so it doesn't sound as fast as it might actually be and the piano might be playing a bass line instead of the normal one. but most people get very frantic when they play faster notes so he did very well for how fast he had to move his fingers. (: good job.
I dnt undastand why im gettin jumped ova dis little opinion. Youtube is here so we can watch videos nd giv opinions. Its not here to critisize every1 elses comments! grow up! i sed im srry, so leav it alone!
@Woozyb123 Believe me, the piano part is much easier than the saxophone. If the sax can handle the speed, so can the piano. And pretty sure that's how fast a pianist normally moves their hands.
@Woozyb123 I don't think it is, look at the timer, around 0:43 it goes from 19:02 to 19:03 and @ 1:42 it still is 19:03, and I don't think they have photoshopped the timer :P
@Woozyb123 i disagree. look the the time at the right corner. after around a minute the time switches fron 19:02 to 19:03, and then after like nearly a minute, the dial dosen't canhge, so it's not sped up.
@Woozyb123 For a professional pianist that would be a standard speed, there are some CRAZY people out there. Check out Yuja Wang's performance of Flight of the Bumblebee for solo piano. That's true speed.
@hardcorexroar I don't know, you have to have some pretty ball'n fingers to play it on Sax and clarinet, I would say it would be less intense on the fingers for a brass player but you would have to change partials a lot so that would be the most difficult part. Also i don't think the word easy should describe this song in any way ha ha!
I use to play the alto saxophone in elementary school and trust me, it's not the easiest instrument to play. Props to the guy playing this. Even if I practiced everyday, I still wouldn't be as good as him.
I dont liked it :(, it's just too fast, he has skills but the result is bad cause it's just too fast, it's like Vivaldi's Winter on violin, some people play it just too too fast, for demonstration of skill is good, but the piece lose it's worth . . .
I dont care what anyone says, it is highly unlikely that anyone who has not been previously aquainted with the saxophone, will be able to produce any type of "good sound" upon the first attempt. I mean of course it may sound good to you, but that means nothing. I have been playing for going on 15 years and this is still a very impressive piece to play and at the tempo it was played at. So, instead of saying how much better you can do it, just say good job.

@F0RCEGFX Go brass! lol I'm pretty talented at tuba, I've never had lessons, but the big thing is that I truly cared about what I was doing, I think that's all the truly matters in the end. :) If you truly care and want to play an instrument, you will become good at it :)
@TheMovieEditor Your wrong. Unless the holder the camcorder managed to slow his heart beat down and hold his breath for the entire length of the song, thus keeping his body steady, you sir are incorrect.
Please think twice before trying to look more impressive than the talented musicians of youtube.
I'm a saxophonist also and just wanted to say, excellent job hitting all the notes. The old Green Hornet theme song is a hard one to play. Try to listen to your tone a little bit, sounded good other wise.
@titantron909 If it was being fast forwarded that would mean that it was being played an octave lower, I'm no sax player, but I don't think it's physically possible to go an octave lower on some of those notes he played.
Sorry, but play Flight of bumblebee so fast isn't so hard... it's chromatic only... there is only few hard moments... The hardest thing is to play it flush with the piano, and here it's very messy... :/ slow down and it'll be much more spectacular :)

Yes, i know that :) I play clarinet, but sometimes i have played on sax :) On clarinet we've got some similar fingering, like from A# to B :) It's difficult sometimes, but if you learn it slow, it's no problem to play faster :)
i could not understand what you were playing. it was the Bumblebee on the other side of the glass. maybe try it slower until it is clean. sorry thats my modest opinion.
Well, after looking at this list of comments, i almost got discouraged about playing my instrument(by my i mean the instrument i play) because apparently most people think saxophone is easy. easy to learn sure, but then u got to take into account the fact that it was invented and not "evolved" the way most other instruments were so there are still major tuning problems the player has to work out...That is all :p
saxophone is evolved in a way. it was invented by adolph sax who wanted to create an instrument similar to the clarinet, but with a richer and smoother tone. the result = saxophone = success.
Saxophone is a very hard instunent to do even mediocre in... sure learning THE FINGERINGS are easy but learning to sound decent takes a lot... And don't go around stating stuff as "basic knowledge" when it's not. Everything I know isn't deemed "basic knowledge" stop being jerkish...
@flamingmelody oh but it isn't if you have played a similar instrument such as the clarinet like me. i played clarinet for 2 years and i switched to tenor sax. i put it together the night i got it and started playing the Bb major scale immediately.

Nice job, although I wish it was played a bit cleaner.

i could not understand what you were playing. it was the Bumblebee on the other side of the glass. maybe try it slower until it is clean. sorry thats my modest opinion.

@flamingmelody yea i know what you mean
jayorteg713 1 year ago
@flamingmelody oh but it isn't if you have played a similar instrument such as the clarinet like me. i played clarinet for 2 years and i switched to tenor sax. i put it together the night i got it and started playing the Bb major scale immediately.
