Okay, Peyton Manning is just a better clutch quarterback. Best 2 minute drill qb for sure. He also can make any throw. He just is a machine. Brady is great, but with the highest paid OL (two years ago at least) and Moss and Welker, it has been shown that even someone who played backup his entire career, including in college, can throw multiple 300 yard games and look like a super great qb.

Peyton has been clutch the past couple years. however he has choked earlier in his career, so you can't say he is a better clutch Qb than Brady in my opinion, neither is more clutch. and that O-line is non-existent, Brady used to be untouchable in the pocket. Also you can't use Moss and Welker in your defense because Brady has won with Branch, Brown, and even Mike Vrabel. Yes the Linebacker who has caught TD's for them. So Brady has proven he doesn't need the best talent to be an elite qb.

indikid24, I'm glad you know that throwing in a dome is easier than throwing in the harsh conditions of a New England winter. Especially come November and December, I remember the Week 14 and 15 games of 2007 for the Pats . Both games had winds blowing in the double digit range. Tom vs. Manning in head to heads is simple. In the regular season Tom is 4-2 agianst him, in the post, Tom is 2-1.

First off, if you look at Ermac's comments you'll see that he implied Brady only scored 50 because of Moss's 23. If we're going to take away elite WRs then we have to take away Harrison and Wayne TDs, which would give Peyton 22. The postseason Denver game Manning played in was in the RCA Dome so I don't know how he plays well in the winter. What did Peyton do up in NE? 0-1 TD-INT. Or not. If he keeps having a coach who will hand the other teams head on a platter to him, then i'm sure Brady's stats will stay near Manning's overall, but to be fair, pretty boy Brady probably won't surpass Manning's records.  Just look at how it took Brady an extra 100+ completions to just get 1 more TD than Manning, AND Manning sat out about 20% of the time, especially when they were winning.

But say I were to agree that a kicker were the main reason for winning any of the Pats Super Bowls (which is ridiculous), you'd still be wrong because the Patriots didn't win their 3rd Super Bowl against the Eagles because of a final FG kick. The Patriots were already ahead of the Eagles 24-14. Dexter Reid then blew a deep coverage and the Eagles pulled within 3 (24-21). The Pats defense then held, and the Pats won. It wasn't because Vinatieri kicked a game-winner.

W?O those 3 FGs, the scores at the end of regulation would have been 17-17, 29-29, and 21-21. The other points may not have been from the kicker, but the point is if Brady was the GOD he is often made to be, He wouldn't have need the FG to be the difference.

Nope, still wrong in regards to Super Bowl 39. The logic is totally flawed. Using your logic, I could go to an extreme like: Have team A score 100 points, then have team B score 0. Team B then comes back and scores 97 points, but loses 100-97... And because Team A won by 3 points, I could say "Well, the kicker's 3 points was what won it". But that's absurd just like what you argued because it ignores the context of the scoring. If it were 21-21 and not 24-14, you'd have a point.

I know that the score was 24-14 BEFORE the Eagles got another touchdown I said that if Adam V. hadn't kicked a field goal, it would have been tied. And no, what you're saying isn't necessarily true, as Super Bowl XLVI exemplified. The score you used can be made w/o a kicker. I only give credit to the kicker when he makes the points that make the difference. He did, regardless of when.

From year one of Peyton's career he had an elite WR with a deep WR corp, the only reason the Pats went after Moss in 07 was because Brady said he would leave if he didn't get help. Now, even if Peyton played the 16th game in 04, he would have played in the Denver winter. We know Peyton can't play during the winter outdoor based on his lackluster performances in NE he would have thrown more INT than TD. I don't care much for speculations. He threw 49 and Brady threw 50.

like i said, the weather in foxbrough makes it harder to throw against. Realize this however, JIM FUCKING SORGI threw 2 td's against the broncos IN DENVER. Manning would have thrown 4 or 5. Trust The very next week, peyton threw 4 td's in in 3 quarters against the broncos in the wildcard. Peyton played 15 games, Brady played 16. Peyton threw 81 less passes than Brady. Ofcourse Peyton threw less passes than Brady. The Pats offense is set up to for short passes. Randy Moss is the only deep threat they had in 2007. Brady could have thrown alot more TD in the week 14 and 15, but the weather got in his way. Brad had 45TD in 13 games, and Peyton had 44 in 13 games.
