This film sucked. It was two-and a half hours too long. Uwe had chosen the wrong actors, the music was boring and didn't always fit the situation and yes, it is a HUGE ripoff from The Lord of the rings.

Jason Statham doesn't fit the part - neither does Ron Pearlman or Jhon -Rhys Davis.

Well some effects were good, but all the costumes and dialouge sucked. Some of them like that sword fight between the wizards were interesting, but I've seen alot of those other kinds when I was channel surfing on my T.V. and landed on Disney channel at times. Effects can sometimes help a film, but they couldn't save this one. On the big screen it looked cooler, but I looked at it again on my dvd and hated it afterwards. At least you have to admit the Krug costumes looked terrible!

Oh yeah that's right. I felt bad about sayinfg that about the costumes. I just meant the Krug ones. It had it's good moments. Matthew and Ray unfortunately didn't do that well I thought. Ray's an okay actor, but he just seemed kinda bland. Yeah his dialouge was awful, but he just seemed kinda emotionless. Matthew I just don't like as an actor though. I can't blame the actors as a whole though. Just the script they were working with.
