  • Theatre of Blood is a great example of "snuff horror". The actors playing the critics were genuinely murdered as shown.

  • I used to think this the most horrific scene when they took poor Horaces head off....how did it get on the milk bottle?

  • @bowler8 The head which fell down to the floor was a copy made of wax. The real head cut off has been taken by Edward Lionheart and his daughter (the doctor and his nurse) to the door of Peregrine Devlins flat. Obviously they've been waiting for the milkman to leave the house after doing his job, then entered the house and fixed the bloody head on a bottle of milk

  • @BMCouncilOfNorway I don't think so. It was supposed to be the real head, I don't think the transition of the head from bedroom floor to milk bottle was thought out.

  • thing was he was a puff in real life!!!!

  • The Maid fell like a TON OF BRICKS!!! ROTFLMFAOOOO!!!!

  • How did the head end up on a milk bottle? It was lying on the floor of the bedroom at the beginning of the clip.

  • @Centaurmaiden i know :O i was just thinking the same thing!!

  • @Centaurmaiden Exactly the point that baffles me.

  • I love how she smoothly deflects his attempt to cop a feel at 04:53...:)

  • love how they filmed her eyes from 4:16 - 4:18

  • 03:03 - Horny old bastard, ready to lift her skirt

OT- I love Price's Shylock costume

  • Oh this film is one of my all-time faves. I LOVE Vincent Price and Diana Rigg.

  • that maid fell like a bag of bricks

  • "Dish, dishy, who is this big beautiful thing with you? Come on, let me get at it!"

  • @newalm OMG I dig that line and the wig and sunglasses! LOL!!!!

  • Was that Diana Rigg in disquise or one of the singers from the Electric Light Orchestra making a camo appearance?

  • I'm starting to wish I watched the film version of "Merchant of Venice" with Al Pacino...or when he reprised that role onstage...

  • Another fun thing about watching this movie is guessing what Shakespeare play the deaths are from.

  • I know it wasnt his daughter because that looks nothing like her, the facial structure is different.

  • who is the woman who tempts the old guy? Where did she come from in the movie? I'm so confused. I know there was Vincent and his daughter and the retarded homeless people who were murdering people but who is this woman, where did she come from?

  • @smoothy883 Diana Rigg

  • @gumballrally427 Was she suppose to be the daughter? I couldnt tell because at the end of the movie when we found out the bearded guy was really the daughter in disguise then that was suppose to be the twist that the daughter was in on it, but the woman in white was clearly recognizable, but if she was the daughter then perhaps not recognizable enough.

  • @smoothy883 Yes, it is her, with possibly the biggest false eyelashes ever. ;)

  • @LaDracul LOL

  • @smoothy883 Diana Rigg

  • @smoothy883 Isn't that women Diana Rigg in disquise?

  • @newalm Apparently, whistle whistle

  • the white vinyl go go boots are cute!

  • this film reminds me how bloody Shakespeare would be in real life lol

  • i love this film ^^

  • its quite comedic
