  • "i dont think of it as being divisive" "i see it as us having differences"

  • Don't laugh watch this:

  • Why don't we take half a glass of sea water and half a glass of fresh water and mix them together in a glass and then have these geniuses separate the two in front of us. Case closed. And "Parents Have Rights" - True. What about children? It is time that human civilization also starts to work on Children's Right to a sound mind in a healthy body and the right to decide their fate and faiths at a time when they are capable of doing so without being encumbered with the baggage of their parent.

  • I'll never understand religion. So in Islam, it is forbidden (and potentially lethal) to pictorially represent the Prophet Muhammed, but millions of Muslim men can proudly take his name? (Face palm)

  • "Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division: For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three."; "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

Peace within our hearts. Not the peace of the world that is false and seeks to diminish our true Creator, and merge idolaters with saints.

  • @joroma77 Why should a long-dead monkey care whether you slander it's good name?

  • I looked for the fresh water vs salt water thing on an islamic site, but the only thing about mixing of water there was this: "He has let loose the two seas, converging together, with a barrier between them they do not break through."

  • White countries are apparently forbidden to exist.

  • Richard lost to that Irish guy....

  • @Athrun000

It's tempting for me to see it that way as well. I don't think Richard would have a problem with faith schools if they ceased to be government funded. The right for a parent to have authority over their child's upbringing obviously trespasses into moral quandaries, as with the parent that prevents medical treatment in times of illness and prefers prayer "healing."

  • @Athrun000

    (cont)

However, I think the leg Richard can stand on in this case is that discrimination goes both ways, as with the kid who is forced to have his parents fake a faith in order to get into a religious school when no secular school is anywhere close. When discrimination is inevitable, a reasonable compromise must be made. I think the obvious choice is for religious schools to be private, as it is in the United States.

  • Religion!

Poisoning the minds of people since Year 0 - A.D

  • check out that ninja bitch! damn, bitch be whipping ninja stars at richie's ass n shit

  • Muslims are batshit crazy...

  • that Irish dude took Richie to school

  • faith schools = crimes against humanity

  • Shut down all religious schools. Only secular education.

  • @jumpnjza2 i agree if they want faith teachings get it at home and church, schools r for knowledge of the truth

  • The only class Religion should be taught in is Humanities!

  • The child at 6:54 is going to be very pissed off when she finds out she's lost a drumstick.

  • @joavim Hahaha. Thanks for pointing that out. Very funny!!! :D

  • nice, but does richard teach his children athiesm or all religions

  • 6:48

The girl dropping her drumstick in the well is the funniest thing I've seen in my entire life. Still one year after watching this docu i still think so.

  • Dawkins "So you think the Koran is a good source of scientific information?"

    Girls "yeah, yeah"

Dawkins "and you're the one who wanted to be a doctor, right?"

Damn, I really felt her burn! :D

  • The conflict in N. Ireland was not a religious war it was a political one. The conflict was largely a matter between Unionists who wanted to remain part of Great Britain and Republicans who wanted to join the Republic of Ireland. Just because the two opposing sides had religious differences doesn't mean that religion was the cause. Dawkings doesn't even mention that.

  • Okay, so this salt water fresh water argument just proves how religion is based on NO EVIDENCE and false claims/assumptions. You want my logical argument for why I say this, religious people:

Fair enough, they said 'salt water does not mix with fresh water'

We scientists would call that a hypothesis. And we won't write it in a journal simply like that. We'll go out and TEST it. And then we'll come to a conclusion, based on the results.

    Science 1 Religion 0

    hashtag winning

  • Damn, you can genuinely see at 0.17 that Muslim principals smile...its sort of saying "I understand Mr Dawkins, but what can I do"?

I feel sorry for him. Poor guy. Trapped in his religion.

  • Islam

Force your fairytale but say its because of free will. Lie to get what you want, even if you have to use the racism-card to silence opposition.

As last, use violence when you can't win

    2011.......

  • Salt water and freshwater do actually resist mixing to some degree, due to density difference. I'm not saying you can't mix them if you put them in a jar and shake them, but in a relatively calm body of water, if you have inflow of freshwater into saltwater (or vice versa) they will generally form two separate layers based on saltwater's greater density.

  • @dragonsofliberty thats common sense, its nothing, doesnt amount to anything, and is not science at all

  • I love how logical Dawkins is throughout this documentary, never being disrespectful, just asking very valid questions and getting vague answers.

  • Holy fuck, so... I just took salt water and fresh water and mixed them.

Did I just disprove the quran?

  • Comment removed

  • SALT WATER AND FRESH WATER DONT MIX...ALLAHU AKBAR

    LMAO

  • "You're the one that wants to be a doctor right?" SNAP

  • Has Mr. Flanagan been taking notes from right-wing American evangelicals, or is there a sort of convergence among religious apologists?

He uses common tactic, and I'm sorry that Dawkins fell into it. He makes an uncontroversial-sounding: parents have a "human right" to raise their children as they see fit. Then he declares Dawkins to be opposed to this supposedly high-minded principle, and spends as much time as possible putting him on the defensive.

  • "you're the one that wants to be a doctor right?"

Well being a doctor is more like a trade, very few are actually good thinkers...

  • the quran is bad science i used to be a muslim trust me i know

  • "Now you're seeking to impose your view on other people and I think that's wrong." 10:15

So, I guess this guy doesn't think children are people, since he is also arguing for faith schools, which impose a specific faith on...well not people apparently, not really sure what he considers children.

  • One critique: Why encourage merging or reconcile science and religion?

  • Fresh water and salt water don't mix...? And here I was thinking that if you add fresh water to salt water you get diluted salt water. /sigh Time to rewrite science...

  • "Parent's should be allowed to make choices"........ Pffft yeah right, is that why you're all anti-abortionists?

  • machinehead5760 our political beliefs do not mark our way of life or our faith or our pledge to One God or the main principles of what our life should be

  • @seductivesylph really? bechose liberals and conservatives have difrent ways of life. they have diffrent prioritys when it comes making desicions and they see the world difrently. and yes, paterns of thouth have habit of passing down, including political views. this is mostly bechose parents see their children as property. atheist, how ever. we disagree with echoter more then we any other group. to us every consept is important, even thou they are wrong. they are worth of remebering.

  • I would love to know what Richard Dawkins thinks about Buddism.

I'd like to know more about Buddism

  • @machinehead5760 Buddhism is non-theist, non-religious, and non-scriptural. an integral part of Buddhist teaching is called "anatman" in Sanskrit, which means no-self, in other words no eternal or separate self, and that our concept of self is entirely self-imposed by our sensory organs. In Buddhism understanding is experienced not dictated, Buddhism is a rigorous introspective method of replacing suffering with serene awareness, and in no way resembles a religion.

  • @machinehead5760 read his book the god delusion....he sort of accepts it.....

  • lol i bet one of his kids will become a born-again christian someday

  • poor children i pitty them.

  • If she becomes a doctor , I can't imagine the irony!!

  • critical thinking and open mindedness for these faith schools simply mean agreeing with that particular faith and nothing more

  • salt water and drinking water don't mix...lol

  • @uknichu She's screwed! ...these people are fuckin retards later in their lives

  • This is what is stated in Our Holy Qurran, and whst the girl meant watch plz:

    watch?v=03Zbr5c-r0w&feature=related

  • I love how Donal Flanagan told Dawkins the way it is. Dawkin has an opinion, a "belief" in being open. He imposed that on his kids. So what is wrong with the parents wanting a religious education for their kids?

  • @seductivesylph We dont label children on our political beleifs so why do we with religion?

  • this last guy " Donal flanagan " has a very strong personality

i don't agree with him tho

  • I think dawkins should of brought up the point that faith school education isn't education--There are laws that the parents have to send their children to school--even if their beliefs are say, they think that facts are really devilish ideas or someone trying to trick them or some such non-sense. The parents do no have the right to choose their childrens education in that case and in the religious case either because its not education

  • "Salt water and fresh water don't mix."

"And you want to be a doctor?"

    >.<

  • @shagoosty Fresh water is lighter than salt water. Therefore, fresh water "floats" on top of salt water. This principle becomes extremely important when considering the drilling of a well in order to tap into the ground water of any island. The weight of the rain water that percolates into the ground depresses the salt water beneath it forming a profile that has the appearance of a lens. This is called the Ghyben-Herzberg lens. In some caves the water flows and creates a form of barrier.

  • @TrustTheAnarchy Go ahead and do that at home. See what happens when you drink it. The salt dilutes into all of the water.

  • @shagoosty dude im an atheist xD and i belive that those schools in england are stupid as fuck

  • @TrustTheAnarchy But won't they eventually mix if you stir the water?

  • @TrustTheAnarchy By the way, I looked up the verse they got this from and this is it: "He has let loose the two seas, converging together, with a barrier between them they do not break through." Doesn't say a word about fresh water vs salt water.

  • Comment removed

  • @shagoosty Don't laugh watch this:

    watch?v=pkiVGxOuR_I

    or

    /watch?v=CZ5fLCwyDig

  • @girloveraja Still laughing because it's still hilarious. That isn't a "new discovery." Any sailor or explorer could tell you that running water, and water in lakes are fresh while the ocean is salty. That literally proves nothing.

  • @shagoosty It is a miracle, 1400 years ago to as mentioned in the book of Muslim where they lived in the middle of the desert. don't you think so?

  • @girloveraja Because 1400 years ago they never traveled to the ocean or a river.

  • Parents rights? What about the children's rights? Those come first.

  • Really? Salt water and fresh water don't mix? Do they believe the Earth is flat too or that gravity doesn't exist? I mean come on! I mean maybe they don't understand evolution because they didn't learn it but... oh man.

  • so at 10:03, what if the parents believe it is their religeon to and right to pass on to their children that if they die by becoming a suicide bommer, they will go to a better place?? Er.. no, ill side with Dawkins on this one.

  • But who will be the custodian of the rights of the child?

  • Your the one who wants to be a Doctor right ? ? HILARIOUS :D

  • Exactly how Dawkins described how he raises his children is how I want to raise my children.

  • The right not to be offended? WTF, if you're offended then it's YOUR fault.

  • Batman Begins music at 4:15. Just thought I'd point that out.

  • These Children should have a choice of there own, when the society, (which in such cases are their families) enforce norms, psychologically the child identifies norms are rewarding and because their society favors it , subconsciously they think it is Right??, and anything that questions this is viewed as wrong. Eventually this manifest itself though out there life's leading to hostilities towards others and their view of life. Peace!

  • The man at the end here puts it like its a human right for the parents to teach their children anything. Well isn't it a human right for the kids to have a freedom to learn what is universally accepted, not just some narrow minded view their parents or some religious group have. One should not respect a fundamentalist as he indoctrinates his children nor give him the freedom to. Politic and religious views are not for kids to choose before they are mature, just to learn about and analyze.

  • @Palmgren86 Or like he put it in the last seconds that I didn't watch before i posted....

  • Islam is not a religion of peace. It is a religion of violence and death. Islam permits its believers the lie to infidels about Islam, so you can't trust a word that a Muslim says about Islam.

  • "religion will be here until the lord comes back"..

The fuck is he taking so long?

  • @dfvish Seriously, just take your fucking kids and go! We're tired of babysitting them!

    :D

  • that one dude was constantly interrupting richard it was sooooooooooooooo annoying

  • Youre the one who wants to be a doctor?

I would have liked to see the "teacher" when he asked the girl the question.

  • Salt water and fresh water dont mix... I fear the future :(

  • wow for the first time i think i have found some common ground with Dawkins and i now have a new found respect for him as long as he stays tolerant and understanding

  • It's quite a neat trick to take the restriction of children's freedom of thought by means of indoctrination, and turn it into an example of open-mindedness and respect for human rights. This is why Orwell matters.

  • 11.05.. "But that's what you're essentially saying" WHAT?!? You would'nt even let him talk!

  • somehow dawkins being a pussy and not telling that parents must not treat their children is their property in the face of the guy.

  • at 6:52 girl loses a drumstick. Guess who's to blame? Jews!

  • lol the little girl's drum stick fell down the grate

  • my cousin is out of a coma, because of medical science... not because of a fictional "god"

  • The Science teacher should be struck off from the teaching board for incompetence. The children have the right to know the truth. Evolution isn't theory its fact! Why can't religious see that, why oh why are they in such denial?!

  • Salty water and drining water don't mix. You can see that. Put a bottle of drinking water into the sea and take it out hours later. The water in it will not be salty!!!

  • @mabank hahaha you fat troll, good one

  • Parents do have the right to make choices which according to them are right for their children, when their children are infants or to the age where they have grown enough to make their choices.Yes i agree.

But now do children have the right to choose for themselves if they do not agree with their parents indoctrinated world views, do children have the right to make their own choices when they reach the correct age to do so ?

  • 2 people who watched the video believe that fresh water does not mix with the sea.

  • That Flanagan guy is the perfect example for a close-minded, ignorant fool that wants to appear fair and liberal by defending "the parents' rights", but fails to see the problem that Richard Dawkins addresses.

  • The worst thing the Labour government did was to facilitate the creation of these tribal 'faith' schools. Parents do NOT have the right to brainwash their children into believing in medieval nonsense or to insist their daughters cover their heads (or their entire faces) with veils.BTW, It's time we banned the full-face veil in Britain as they've recently done in France. An excellent measure against the fanatics.

  • The idea that the children are the property of their parents might be precisely the best reason to NOT support belief schools. Saying that children are gets the parent's rights over the children's. To get up what's wrong with this idea: Imagine a father who is religious (any will work), and his children are mentally ill. He thinks his children are possessed by evils spirits, so he murders them. Pressing charges against him would be against his "freedom of religion".

  • Awwww look at 6:54; she lost her drumstick. :(

  • the girl's drumstick at 6:52 fell into the sewer

  • I watched the section in the muslim school and heard girls say that the koran incorporates modern science and that we could learn such wonders as the fact that fresh water and salt water do NOT mix in the sea! It was horrific. It doesn't just show a total ignorance of science it is anti-science. And one of these girls wants to be a Doctor one day. A witch doctor, perhaps?

  • I'm so glad I live in Sweden where we, at least from what I have seen, don't have this faith school bull. Hopefully by the next election the party "The Christ-democrats" won't get elected into parliament again.

It was well close on our last election so I'm crossing my fingers.

Sadly tho we now have a new anti-muslim/Christian fundamentalist party in our government. I'm all for being anti religion but these nutters just want to push their on Christian agenda on Sweden so they are just at bad.

  • Listening to Donal Flanagan near the end of this segment does beg the question...is there ANYTHING a parent can do in terms of what they want to teach their child that WOULD be considered improper, or do parents have TOTAL control over what they teach their children? While I, as a parent, lean towards as much parental freedom as possible, I can certainly see plenty of situations where the child's well being supersedes the desires of the parent. Religious indoctrination may be one of those.

  • Listening to the muslim kids and their so-called teachers was deeply shocking. I heard nothing but indoctrinated ignorant nonsense. Evolution is a FACT proven by fossils and genetics. Fresh water is produced by evaporation from the sea it is NOT 'unmixed' as one child said. Science? I did Arts subjects at university but it seems I know more science than the 'science teacher'. Can't they see that the koran is NOT a science manual? This is miseducation.

  • My favorite part is about 10 minutes in to the end. Makes a lot of sense.

  • i found out when Dawkins think what he hear are complete bullshit (or hard to believe), he blinks alot lol...check 00:33

  • I agree 100% with Richard, but only way you can accomplish this is with separation of church and state.

  • Salt and freshwater don't mix? BWAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

  • Religion makes me emabrassed that I the same species as the pious.

  • WHAT THE FUCK?

  • Salt water and fresh water do not mix. The Qur'an says so, so its true. Don't worry about the OCEAN of evidence (all puns intended) against it. Have faith...the creator wouldn't lie to us, i mean look at how he has been right all along about evolution. How can we be evolved from monkeys, if monkeys still exist? Human don't pop out of monkeys in the jungle today! This is conclusive proof.

  • OMG I was just in the kitchen and I filled up a glass of fresh tap water, then I took a pinch of salt and sprinkled it into the glass -- I couldnt believe it, the grains of salt actually bounced off the surface of the water!! WOW, ya learn something every day...

  • Poor girl lost a drumstick at about 6:55 .

  • @ShoutaFuwano It is the will of Allah.

  • That second pastor wouldn't let Dawkins get a word in edgewise, and he kept putting words into Dawkins' mouth. Yes, parents have the right to choose what education they want for their children, but Dawkins also has the right to talk to the parents and try to persuade them. The pastor treated it as though Dawkins was evil for challenging his viewpoint, and that Dawkins wants parents to not have choice. Dawkins is just questioning the parental wisdom of keeping kids so segregated based on religion

  • And you're the one that wants to be a doctor right?

    Ahahahahaha

  • Poor girl at 6:52 lost her drum stick =( lol

  • News Flash!!...There's no such thing as "rights"...they're made up.

  • Why UK doesn't give Ulster to Republic of Ireland? It is not natural to divide one island in two states! They returned Hong Kong to PRC, so they should do the same to Ireland. Protestants are there since Oliver Cromwell, since 1600's. Irish catholics are original inhabitants in Ulster. Protestants should go to Scotland and England.

  • @milekrizman

If you think that, then you're part of the problem.

You being a Croatian - I bet I could find a few of your non-Croatian neighbours, who think ALSO like you, that YOU should pack up and piss off to some other corner of the earth. And whose thinking, SAME as yours, comes from some religious, ethnic or language borders that have been drilled into them by their idiotic parents - that "they are not us, and they should leave". Then you haven't been paying fucking attention at all.

  • @allnotathome Well, sir, I didn't say that Northern Ireland should be 'ethnically cleansed' as Serbs did in Bosnia and Croatia. During and after the war the Serbs who wanted to live in Serbia, left Croatia and Bosnia and went to Serbia and serbian parts of Bosnia. If ultimately Ireland becomes united as it should be, the Protestants who do not want to live in Ireland could leave Ireland and settle in country of their origin. But they can be whatever they like to be in this united Ireland.

  • @milekrizman

Why wouldn't they want to live in Ireland? It's their country too. Also, is it SO inconceivable that there are Irish, who want to be part of UK?

The real issue here is the religion, and the violence that has stemmed from that is the reason why it has kept one nationality apart.

Maybe Kosovo isn't a good example, but I believe if those 88% Albanians were Christians, Kosovo would still be part of Serbia.

It's the religion that drives the wedge and hatred, and needs to go.

  • @allnotathome I don't know what kind of protestants who live in Ulster are - Anglican, Methodist, Presbyterian...? You understand that they ARE NOT IRISH in ethnically sense, because they are descendants of English and Scottish settlers during reign of Oliver Cromwell, because Ulster was the most rebellious part of Ireland. I know serbian history pretty well. After the Great war for freedom in late 17. century many Serbs fled from Kosovo to southern Hungary (today Vojvodina).

  • @allnotathome In late 17. century Ottoman turkish rulers gave serbian houses to Albanians who came from albanian hills in the south, it was some kind of albanian colonization made by Ottomans in late 17. century. Kosovo is the heartland of medieval serbian state as is Jerusalem for Jews. Ask any Serb - he will say that Kosovo for them what London is to english people - heartland of their tradition.

  • Salt water and Fresh water don't mix? What the fuck?

  • On the subject of genital mutilation, a lot of Americans mutilate their children's genitals, but condemn the mutilation of Africans mutilating their children's genitals. Religious grounds. But their religion is so bad that they cut off girls' external genitals (and sew them up until she's "ready to marry"), while your religion or superstition (same thing) is so good as to cut off part of boys external genitals.

  • It annoys me so much, when people ask Dawkins questions and then refuse to give him time to answer.

  • @ILUV412 Cause religious people are looking for a gap, in his knowlegde. In where they can point and say "Ha" see you'r flawed, better I turn to God.

  • @allermann1 *sigh* *nod* it's sad.

  • @ILUV412 very!- it sad to see the state of our world, in these times. With all the knowlegde available, we should be able to support the inviroment, and forget this labeling- I admire RD. and support his fight for equality!- and think if we addapted, homo sapiens with the technology available today, we could create a magnificent future for animals and further generations! :-D instead of clinging to urban legends, and fairytales from ancient times.

  • @allermann1 Heck yes! =D I completely agree! =D

  • @ILUV412 I couldn't agree more, and the reason they don't let him speak is they want to show him as not having an answer - even if he didn't get the chance to give one. It strengthens their own case.

  • "and your the one that wants to be a Doctor?" Dawkins has a brilliant non confronting way of mocking people!

  • That kid dropped her drum stick..:P

  • @bwong85 What, perfectly good piece of information. I mean where would we be in our modern day homes if we didn't know about the salt water. I run into salty ocean water every day, as do we all :D

  • Donal Flanagan is a total hypocrite. The whole point of what Dawkins is saying is that he wants to foster an open mind in his children, in which they will be able to make their own decisions. He is not imposing his views on them. Mr. Flanagan says it's OK for parents to impose their religious views on their children, denying their children a choice. It's not the same thing.

  • @sgoodacre uhh... Dawkin's view is that they should be open minded, epic logic fail.

  • @22Goofball22 Not sure what that even means.

  • @sgoodacre The view of religious families is that they have the right to raise their children according to the convictions of their faith, just like Dawkin's has the right to raise his children according to his own convictions and beliefs. For him to tell religious families they can't raise their children as they see fit, by translation would mean he can't teach his children to be quote "skeptical and open minded". That's where the breakdown in logic occurred. And that's what that means.

  • @22Goofball22 The point is that Dawkins' children can turn to religion if they want to. He is simply saying that children should have the right to an education that allows them to decide for themselves. When you indoctrinate a child from birth by telling him things like "you'll burn in hell fire if you don't believe in XYZ," you are not giving them that choice. I'm sorry but there is a difference.

  • @sgoodacre Do I really need to start naming people that were raised in Christian homes and that turned into atheists, your beloved Richard Dawkins for one. To say that children raised in a Christian home have no choice is absurd. Sorry, but you're gonna have to do a little better than that.

  • @22Goofball22 That's anecdotal. Explain why is it that almost every part of the world has one predominant religion? Because they were brought up to think for themselves or because they were indoctrinated during childhood? Of course there are outliers, but there's no doubt that people are more likely to grow up religious if they are not given the resources to question it during childhood. The Dawkins example only proves my point - he turned away from the church because of a good education.

  • @sgoodacre Why is it wrong for people in other parts of the country to teach their values principles and faith to their children. And if it is wrong for them to do that, why does it matter to you since an atheist's worldview doesn't give a rational account for morality.

  • @22Goofball22 I am not saying it is wrong for parents to tell their children about their belief system. I am saying that it is wrong for them to tell their children that there is only one correct belief system and that if they don't go along with it then they will spend eternity in hell. I care because that type of indoctrination leads to suicide bombers and other acts of terrorism, murders of cartoonists, threats against authors etc. What's wrong letting children decide for themselves?

  • @sgoodacre I think you may have missed the point I made in the second half of my last post. As an atheist, you have no rationale whatsoever for saying anything is right or wrong. An atheist worldview DOES NOT provide an account for morality. And thus you have no basis for using an argument centered around what's right and what's wrong. Because of that, the argument you presented in your last post is invalid.

  • @22Goofball22 The fact is that your system of morals was made up by some guy a long time ago. It doesn't matter is you believe it, it is not a "rational account for morality" as you put it. Frankly I think atheists tend to have stronger morals that religious people simply because they are not bound by these invented laws and don't rely on the standards of ancient societies. The notion that people who don't believe in religion are not moral is a insulting, pretentious whine with no backing.

  • @sgoodacre I didn't say atheists aren't moral, don't miss quote me, I said you have no basis for morality. The Bible has 66 books and was written by 40 different people over at least a thousand year period, and the whole thing carries the same message. The Bible is one of the most well confirmed ancient documents we have, and whether or not you believe it, it provides a reason for the existence of morals.

  • @22Goofball22 Ah so I am moral with no basis for morality. Well I am glad that you're not talking in circles at least. Just out of interest, why do societies that have never heard of the Bible have morals? Do you share the morals about stoning gays and subjugating women? What about the gospels that aren't included in the modern bible? I like the one where Jesus blinds everyone in a town myself. Maybe all the messages are (arguably) consistent is because someone edited them?

  • @sgoodacre Romans 2:14-15 says “(Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law, 15 since they show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts now accusing, now even defending them.) “ God's Law is written on our hearts, that's the innate sense of morality.

  • @22Goofball22 Quoting the Bible is not moving forward in this discussion because people who don't believe it will not be convinced. The evolution-based explanation that Dawkins provided reveals how altruism developed as a survival mechanism. It does not require a supernatural explanation.

  • @22Goofball22 In fact, Dawkins provides a rather more convincing explanation for the development of morality than the one you just made up several times in this series.

  • @sgoodacre I know the references your referring to in this series, but listen to Dawkins carefully he refers to human nature, human nature doesn't give a REASON for the existence of morality, and actually this supports the biblical account of morality. The man that he interviewed in part5 of "the virus of faith" says that we have an innate moral sense, again doesn't give a REASON for it's existence he simply says that it exists. Good try though.
