@SweetpeaMango I thought it was a decent hotel. Not great, but not bad either. As I was doing a lot of sightseeing, I didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel except to sleep. But I will say that the staff were extremely friendly & helpful, and that the room was clean and had no bugs. (Though, I'm not sure if Contiki still uses this hotel for their New York tour. I remember reading that this hotel has closed).
@SweetpeaMango I had a very good time! :-D I did my research before going on the trip and I knew beforehand what I wanted to see and do. I even bought a City Card, which gives discounts to certain locations. I can't really comment on the "Contiki dynamic," as I didn't spend much time with the group aside from the guided tour by bus on the first day. I spent most of my time alone and had a great trip. :-) Check out the rest of my New York Contiki videos to get a broader sense of my experience.
