Leaf fans shit all over Sundin when he decided to stay with the team.

The guy was a CONSISTENT 30 goal scorer for the team since 2001-02. You just knew Mats was going to score 30 goals every year.

Now look at the Leafs.... Kessel gets 30 goals and it's like he's an all-star or something. Leafs should have never thrown Sundin under the bus like they did. He was one guy they could have built around for at least some more years to come.

If you knew your shit you'd know that Jason Allison, Owen Nolan and Nieuwendyk weren't acquired by the Leafs until AFTER their Conference Finals run in 2002. Nolan and Nieuwendyk came in 2003 and Allison came in 2005.

Mats Sundin on the second leaf goal was just amazing. This goal you had to appreciate live, but this is what Sundin does. He will walk right out in front of the net and score anyways. This is one of my favourite Sundin goals of all time and I don't understand why it isn't on every tribute video.Then of course gets the next goal to tie the game once again. This game is just a summary of what Sundin can do, he will score the goals when they matter, and he will skate through you to do it.
