clearly remember the first time I heard the Marvin Gaye/ Tammi Terrell on the radio. It was a magic moment which had lasted a life time. Valerie Simpson Nick Ashford have been a huge part of my musical foundation. I celebrate his life and I cherish his work. Love you Valerie I knew it was arrogant of me to even tamper with this masterpiece, but gave me tremendous joy as a musical arranger to find another path trough this great song. Having Jocelyn sing it was just the icing on top.
