Yeah we love our athletes. Doesn't matter what else you do, if you're great at football you must be a great guy. Maybe we could spell "role model" if we chose better ones.

This is why I as a former Packer fan have followed Brett Favre wherever he plays...He has heart and soul... A true LEGEND. Thanks Deanna for sharing him with us on so many, many Sundays...He made it so FUN to watch him have FUN playing the game he so obviously loves. @BrightStarKey I stopped being a Packer fan the first year Favre was gone. I grew up as a Packer fan (since my first game in 1994). I will always miss #4, I will always love Green Bay!

favre ALWAYS throws picks. In fact, when he threw the pick to lose the game some guy I never saw before at the bar yells "THAT'S THE FAVRE WE ARE FAMILIAR WITH". HA HA. true. He never was that good, and he showed that to be the truth last night.
