@KLINGY94 1. You must be blind if you think that the exterior and interior are the same. And even if it's pretty similar: What's wrong with not changing a really good looking car?

And what's wrong with keeping the inline-6, which produces more power and still gets better fuel economy than comparable engines?

Why do automakers think black is sporty for a car interior. I hate the fact that most of the coupes I have owned have only come with a black interior.  It's depressing.

@ghrpdx Because a black interior IS sporty. And it's also kinda classy. Brown / beige / tan interiors always have a kind of grandpa / old people feel to them if you ask me. However they do fit into high end luxury cars. Not so much into sports orientated cars.

But don't worry, the 3 series will be avaiable with a variety of different leather colors.

I was wondering. in a 8 speed auto, are there really 8 gears or are there 4 gears and 2 final drives (like in a diesel truck) ?

@Hondaminican i think 8 because ml has 7 gears but in low speeds you cant get it to 7th gear.

@Hondaminican They actually do have 8 gears. The first 7 gears are your 'normal' gears and the 8th gear is an overdrive gear.

interior looks very similar, from looking at the side at the exterior, its hard to tell between this new car and the old model.

@jmsjmsjms93 Same thing with pretty much every other carmaker in the world. The silhouette and overall lines of the cars often stay the same for a couple of generations before they're changed again.

@jvrdlc everything. the exterior had some minor changes but as Joe says, each trim has a different front fascia. subtle changes to the back of the car and lots of interior improvements.
