Haven't the Iotas used knives for years? I have seen Iotas use knives in their shows. The knife part in this show seemed to be a part of the Iota tribute step.  I don't see how that can be stolen from the Zetas when it was clearly meant to be representative of Iota Phi Theta.

From what I saw the Ladies stepped for the overwhelming majority of their show. I saw an intro, followed by stepping, some musical transitions with stepping between them, more stepping, then an outro.  Stepping 100% of the time can really bog down a show. To me transitions are needed especially when all the steps are not as engaging. You tend to lose the audience's attention. I guess its a matter of preference. They held my attention for the entire show.

Great Job, but next time STEP for more than 50% of your show. Also, I say 2 routines from 2 different Zeta shows. At 4:40 check out this video on youtube called (stepping on the shores 2). Also, do get the dvd of Stomping on the Yard. The scene with the knives was taken straight from there. Overrall, I think you all did a great job!

I checked out your video--its a ssstttreeetttccchhh to say that the ladies stole that portion of the routine--it was simply voice overs about the other sororities (and it was a lot longer and about men) --who hasn't done that before?

1) these ladies did step for more than 50% of their show. This is one portion of their show.

2) no on the other video. besides, it's pretty lame to come on another video to throw shade on the video like "check out THIS one instead.

3) the knives step is a TRIBUTE step that was in existence WAY before hollywood even decided to do a movie on stepping
