Dude that lizards tail cant break a persons arm...not even close, and as for its teeth if it gave you a good chomp you might need 1 or 2 stitches but theres no way it would be anything to worry about, their teeth are used for crunching up soft stuff like bugs theres no way it would do something like bite off a finger
as a former iguana owner i find this scary for the pup...i have been whipped by a ig tail and was seriously cut, bites are really but...a nip punctured a nail...keep your pooch away from them
dude if that iguana gets your dog you will be taking it to the vet, if there tail hits you it will gash you open, if a big one whips you it can break a humans arm, if it bites you, you will need stiches
@MrRichardPryor tell me how im wrong, dont just say"get your facts right" coz that just makes you seem like you dont know what the fuck your talkin about
@MrRichardPryor Well it is NOT incorrect. My friend's chihuahua once get whipped by an angry full grown male iguana and it got it hind legs broken and it need surgery. Oh and my brother has this long scar on his palm cos 2 years ago he get bitten by our Craig, 7 year old male iguana (now 9) when hes trying to get it to bath ( i think he forgets its already breeding season or sumthin.) he bite hard and shakes it around like an alligator. It was messy, he needed 12 stitches later that night :O
@Notunyx there's a big difference between a beagle and a chihuahua and I'm not just talking size. Toy vs. Hunting dog...my money's on the hunting dog. Besides, if he doens't learn how to deal with them in an area where they abound, he will get hurt.
@bborder100 my point is that iguana can inflict serius damage on the dogs. Plus wild iguana tend to carry salmonella that can be fatal to your dogs. not to mention they got tough skin. that iguana right there is not even HALF the size of full grown ones (that one looks like 2 year old young male to me, iguana size can reach 6-7 foot and tops out at 5- 6 years old they still continue growing until they die but at very slow rate)
@Notunyx Don't get me wrong, i'm not saying that it isn't dangerous, I'm just saying that if the dog is in an area where he's going to have to encounter them, it's best for the dog that he learn how so he knows what to do.
Thanks for the video. You have your hands full with that little Beagle. I'm amazed that the Iguana didn't run much sooner. I love the way the dog climbed the tree as far as possible. Thanks again.
my iguana used to do that( i caught him in the wild). he beat the living %$^% out of a little dog one time. he kept biting and whipping the dog. i set emerald free. he lives in a big Mango tree now.
