WOW this version makes the nes one look like a pile of shit. in the nes one it made no sense why you had to run from like sharks in a mall and dodge green spike shit. i mean this one is still bizarre but its a big step up from the nes one

your game probably used the pc internal speakers, which are certainly mono. This one used modern pc speakers (most probably external). I used to play this on a Windows 95 PC, which sounded like the one you meant. Then I tried it on a Windows 98 (I think) which sounded exactly like this :D

P.S. Doesn't this music sound like Christmas music? xD
